3 Game Masters need quality maps for their miniatures. DramaScape is committed to bringing Game Masters the maps they need. This map product is a full-color, 48 x 30 inch, Battlemap of a Norman Church. DramaScape map products are designed to be compatible with both square and hex-based games and this map product includes both types of overlays and also a no overlay version. The northern entrance has two round tables with golden bowls on them, one large rectangular table with a book lying on it, and a large rectangular table with scrolls and a cross on top. The northern, southern, and eastern walkways are the most likely areas to enter the map, but there is no wall around the church. So it s plausible that the map could be entered from any of the grassy areas around the edge of the map as well except for those spaces with tombstones on them. The northern and eastern walkways are paved with gravel whereas the southern walkway is a simple dirt path. The northern walkway is the entrance for the clergy and Norman rulers with the southern walkway for Saxons and other laymen peasants. The eastern walkway leads to a separate fortified area that can be used by the Norman holy warriors that defend the church or a preparation room for the clergy before mass. The tower has a door on its southern face. The grassy area surrounding the church is used as a graveyard with multiple tombstones and two larger stone crypts. One of them crypts is old and cracked and one is new. The tower has a spiral staircase that ascends clockwise and descends counterclockwise. The tower likely has a bell at the top to signal mass or warn of an attack on the church. The southern entrance has a round table with a golden bowl on it, a large rectangular table, and a round table. The church has five rows of pews in two columns in the north and south. The northern pews are for the Normans with the southern ones for the Saxons. Some of the pews have books and scrolls on them. The books can represent bibles or psalm books for religious songs, with the scrolls used as the guide for this week s mass. The rest of the room has five round tables with golden bowls on them, a lectern with an open book on it, and a large rectangular table. The head priest conducts mass from the lectern. There is an arched doorway in the west center wall that leads to the westernmost part of the room. This part of the room has two windows shining down on a tomb and an altar with a book on it surrounded by four candles. Using the Norman Church with our other maps: The fortified east room has two round tables with golden bowls on top, a large rectangular table with scrolls and a cross on top of it, and a lectern with an open book on top of it. The golden bowls here could be filled with water blessed by priests and are to be used upon entering the building. The Norman Church makes a great map next to our Saxon Village map as it can be used as the village church and perhaps even the fort that the Norman ruler uses to watch over his subjects. The church is the large western building with two entrances to the north and south.
