2 Those Confirmed Congratulations to the young men and women of St. Michael that received the Sacrament of Confirmation on April, 14th at the Cathedral. These are the future leaders of our parish. Please keep them, and all of our St. Michael parish children, in your prayers. Saturday, April 9th was a busy day at St. Michael. First, in the Church, parents waited as their children posed for their individual First Communion photographs. First Communion Mass is Saturday, April 30th at 10:00 A.M. Third, the parish youth ministry held their annual garage sale to raise funds to support their trip to the Steubenville Youth Conference. The 2-day sale raised $1, The youth ministry thanks all of the volunteers and everyone that donated items or shopped at the event. 5 A note from Fr. Aaron Currently, I am working with Friends of Recovery, Inc., a group from our community trying to start a women s recovery house here in Greenfield. If you have an interest, a real passion to help the women of Hancock Co. that are suffering from addiction, please join me at a reception to learn more about the Talitha Koum Recovery House. The reception is Tues., April 26 th at 7 P.M. at the Adaggio s Banquet Hall and Conference Center, 599 W. Memory Lane in Greenfield. One position is to complete a 1 year term and the additional two positions are 3 year terms. Since the council members serve in a leadership role representing our parish and school family we have the following requirements. 1. You need to be a practicing Catholic years old or older 3. If married, you need to be in compliance with the marriage laws of the Catholic Church If you would be interested in serving your parish family, or you know someone that would be a good candidate, please contact the Parish Office, by May 10 th.
