Jesus came, the doors being closed, and stood in their midst, and said, Peace be to you! Then he said to Thomas. Bring here your finger, and see my hands; and bring here your hand, and put it into my side; and be not unbelieving, but believing. Thomas answered and said to him, My Lord and my God! Jesus said to him, Because you have seen me, Thomas, you have believed. Blessed are those who have not seen, and yet have believed. Many other signs also Jesus worked in the sight of his disciples, which are not written in this book. But these are written that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that believing you may have life in his name. النجيل يق أر بعدة لغات وعلى ثالث محطات- )يوحنا 31-19(: 20: أحد القديس توما في عشية ذلك اليوم عينه وهو األو ل من األسبوع واألبواب مغلقة حيث كان التالميذ مجتمعين خوفا من اليهود جاء يسوع السالم لكم. ولم ا قال هذا أ اره م يديه وجنب ه ففرح التالميذ إ ذ أ بصروا الرب. ووقف في الوسط وقال لهم: وقال لهم يسوع ثاني ة: السالم لكم كما أ رسلني اآلب كذلك أ نا أ رسل كم. ولما قال هذا نفخ فيهم وقال لهم: خ ذوا الروح القدس. م ن غفرت م خطاياهم ت غف ر لهم ومن أمسكتم خطاياهم أ مس ك ت. وان توما أ حد االثني عشر الذي ي قال له التوأ م لم يكن معهم حين جاء يسوع. فقال له التالميذ اآلخرون: إننا قد أرينا الرب. فقال لهم إ ن لم أ ر مو ضع المسامير في يديه وأ ضع إ صبعي في موضع المسامير وأ ضع يدي في جنبه ال أ ومن. ويتابع المحتفل ما تبقى من اإلنجيل وحده: وبعد ثمانية أ يام كان تالميذ ه أ يضا داخال وتوما معهم. فأتى يسوع واألبواب مغلقة ووقف في الوسط وقال السالم لكم. ثم قال لتوما: هات إ صبع ك إلى ههنا. وعاين يد ي وهات يد ك وض ع ها في جنبي وال تك ن غير مؤمن بل مؤمنا. أ جاب توما وقا ل له: ربي والهي! قال له يسوع: ألنك أر يتني يا توما آمنت طوبى للذين لم ي روا وآمنوا. وآيا ت أ خر كثيرة صنع يسوع أ مام تالميذ ه لم ت كت ب في هذا الكتاب. وا نما ك تب ت هذه لتؤمنوا بأ ن يسوع المسيح هو ابن اهلل. ولتكون لكم اذا آمنتم الحياة باسمه.
