More than 60 voices from Cantores Christi Chorus and The Silver Lake College of The Holy Family Chorale present, At the Ninth Hour, a Lenten Musical Journey. Important information about March and April Evening Prayer Evening Prayer that normally is celebrated at St. Peter Claver on the 1 st Tuesday of the month and weekly in Lent will be celebrated at Immaculate Conception at 6:30 p.m. on March 12, 19, 26, April 2 and 9. This change is taking place because of the Tri-Parish Scripture Study that will take place at Immaculate Conception on these nights at 7:00 p.m. SSCM Buildings and Grounds needs more volunteers. Please prayerfully consider joining this committee. Pray, Reconcile and Rejoice is scheduled for Sheboygan County on Wednesday April 10 th at St. Peter Claver Parish 1439 South 12 th Street From 9:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m.. There will be one priest available for the Sacrament of Reconciliation from 9:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. and two priests will be available from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Please use the parking lot off of South 12 th Street and use that entrance to the church (the main entrance) Catholic Stewardship Appeal Next weekend, March 16 & 17, all parishes within the Archdiocese of Milwaukee have been asked to conduct an inpew solicitation for the 2019 Catholic Stewardship Appeal. This is a new initiation being presented by the Archdiocesan Development Office, with the hope that each of our parishes will reach their goal, as well as our collective goal of $7.8 million. Envelopes and pencils will be can be found in the at all the Masses, and you will be given the opportunity to fill out your pledge card immediately after Father s homily. Your response to this Appeal is greatly appreciated and please keep in mind that no gift is too small. We would like to thank everyone who has supported the Catholic Stewardship Appeal in the past and to those parishioners who responded to the most recent mailing. As we celebrate the 175th Anniversary of the Archdiocese of Milwaukee, it is important to gather the faithful to pray and think about how we live out the call to charity both as individual believers and as members of larger communities. On Saturday, April 6, 2019, the Archbishop invites parish s human concerns committee members, respect life committee members, St. Vincent de Paul Conferences, and all those interested in this Gospel ministry to a morning of formation and networking. We will gather on Saturday, April 6, 2019, 9:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Cousins Center within The Archdiocese of Milwaukee. We will be praying on the sidewalk entrance to Planned Parenthood at the intersection of New Jersey Ave. and S. Taylor Dr. in Sheboygan for 12 hours a day, 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. each of the 40 days of Lent. This is not sidewalk counseling, and no contact is made with those entering Planned Parenthood. Participants will have information about alternatives to abortion and abortion recovery to share if approached. Website: Christ Child Academy News & Notes As we prepare for Easter, Christ Child Academy students will be praying the Stations of the Cross during Lent. Grades K 4 will be held on Tuesdays at 2:30 p.m. and grades 5-8 will be held on Fridays at 2:30 p.m. Students in grades 2-8 will also be attending Reconciliation during the Lenten season. Registration for the school year is now underway! Registration forms are available in the school office. If you or someone you know is interested in touring the school and discovering what Christ Child Academy has to offer, we invite you to call and set up a visit. Please note: All current families must be registered by April 18 th. After April 18 th, registration will be open to new families on a first-come, first-serve basis. Christ Child Academy will be participating in the statewide Wisconsin Parental Choice Program (WPCP) for the school year. The WPCP allows students throughout the State of Wisconsin to attend private and religious schools tuition-free through a voucher provided by the state.
