A pers can be kind, loving, generous, forgiving, pient, trustworthy and much more. But can somee be a good Cholic without coming to Sunday Mass? The answer to th questi is absolutely not! A pers cannot be a good Cholic without joining his or her fellow Christians Sunday Mass. For Christianity is not primarily about being kind, loving, generous, etc. - - though, of course a Christian should be those things. Christianity is not just about being nice. Christianity is about following a pers. Christianity is about a persal reliship with Jesus Christ. The way we come in ctact with Jesus Christ is through his church, especially when the church ghers for the celebri of Sunday Mass. Sunday is the day the Lord rose from the dead. Sunday is the day he most often appeared to his disciples. Sunday is the day the Lord comes to be with us in a powerful way as we gher for Mass. As the le Pope John Paul II wrote. It is crucially important th all the faithful should be cvinced th they cannot live their faith or share fully in the life of the Christian community unless they take part regularly in the Sunday Eucharistic assembly. The Mass is essential for our Christian life; without it our faith withers and dies. As a gre writer put it, The devil dances for joy when a Cholic stops going to Mass. RELIGIOUS EDUCATIO Saint Colman Parish Religious Educi Program begins Tuesday, September 6th 6pm-7:30pm for grades K-8. Please Note: It is a Diocesan Policy for all students to receive a minimum of 2 full years of educi before the recepti of the Sacraments of Reccilii and Eucharist (grades 1 and 2) and 3 full years before Cfirmi (grades 6-8). If your child does not tend a Cholic School, make sure they are registered. If you are a member of another parish, permissi of your pastor is required to tend St. Colman. Registri is now in progress.
