Some members of the church have no transportation (mostly newcomers') and will need volunteers to drive them back and forth to locations such as church services, Health & Human Services office, job interviews, emergency room, doctor appointments, nearby jobs, summer schools, etc... 28 Egypt 12% Project In an effort to help our mother church in Egypt, our church is proposing a completely voluntary and optional 2% (or more) monthly income donation to be devoted to helping our brothers and sisters in Egypt who are in need. This donation is intended to be an additional offering over and above our 10% tithe and will be collected separately and sent each month to one of the suffering churches in Egypt. If you wish to participate in the blessing of this service, kindly give your checks (or cash) to Fr. Younan or Fr. James directly.

29 Church Rules and Order

30 General Rules Week 1 (of the Coptic month)! No smoking in any part of the church premises including the parking lot! No running in the church! No adults or children are permitted to congregate in the church lobby during the service

31 General Rules Week 2 (of the Coptic month)! No food or drinks in the church, SS classes, or the CYC gym. Only in the CYC hall or the small cafeteria in the SS building! No food or drinks of any kind or toys of any shape in the Cry Room! The books of prayers are not be given to or handled by the young children

32 General Rules Week 3 (of the Coptic month)! Keeping the church and its service buildings clean is the responsibility of every parishioner! Cell phones should be turned OFF or switched to SILENT during church services

Cars parked between the church and CYC are NOT to be moved while children are passing to and from the CYC and service buildings! Please do NOT park in the the fire lanes additional spaces are often available behind the church

34 Communion Preparation Week 5 (of the Coptic month)! Being regular in practicing repentance and confession! Observing Church fasts (see confession father)! No eating after midnight or at least 9 hours before communion! Attend Gospel reading
