Heavenly Father, we pray for all single people, couples, communal groups and families, as they weather their storms and learn from them; lavish on all who have the care of others the capacity to bring peace and calm fears. 14 Summer Day Camp Community Roots Day Camp is a summer program being created by the Diocese of Nova Scotia and PEI in collaboration with communities across the Diocese. We will have camp at Christ Church from July The camps are for children ages 6-12 and the Cost is FREE! (If a potential participant is outside of those ages please contact acolp@nspeidiocese.ca or camp@sharenspei.ca or speak to Will!). Community Roots Day Camp will emphasize the importance of community, the things that keep us rooted in these communities, and what all of that means. We will explore that through art, play, science, worship and so much more! Community Roots will provide space for campers to be themselves, make new connections, and learn more about God. Sounds fun right? Go to to learn more, and / or to register! Camp is looking for donations of clean empty tin cans - especially the ones with the flip top covers (like cat food cans). If you have any cans - you can donate them to Camp as they are in need of cans of all shapes and sizes. Thank You.
