Our Sacramental Life Baptism: The Sacrament is usually celebrated on the 3rd Sunday of the month at 2 PM in the Ellenville Church. Parents take part in a Pre-Baptismal Program. Sacrament of First Communion & Confirmation: The Sacraments are offered through the Religious Education Program. Rite of Christian Initiation (RCIA): This program is for un-baptized people who are thinking of becoming Catholic as well as for those who are baptized and have not received the sacraments of First Communion and/or Confirmation. Call the office Sacrament of Matrimony: Reservation of date to be made at least six months in advance. Parish registration and marriage preparation are required. Please call to make an appointment with a priest. Sacrament of Anointing of the Sick: The Sacrament may be administered at any time for those who are seriously ill. Please call the parish office. Our Homebound or Hospitalized Parishioners: Please notify the Rectory when a family member, friend or neighbor is confined to home or hospital so that we can arrange prayer and a visit.

4 The Most Holy Trinity May 27, 2018 Go... and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Matthew 28:19 THE RESPONSIBILITY OF OUR FAITH Today is a day simply to ponder the fact that in baptism we were claimed by God: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. The first reading from Deuteronomy prompts us to fix in our hearts the truth that God is the Lord of both heaven and earth and there is no other god. Saint Paul reminds us that, because we received the Spirit of adoption in baptism, we are now children of God. In the Gospel Jesus charges us with the responsibility to make other disciples. These realities make today s solemnity a day of praise, adoration, and responsibility. It is a fitting day to thank God for the absolutely free gift of faith that we were given in baptism. Mateo 28:19 LA RESPONSABILIDAD DE NUESTRA FE Hoy es un día para reflexionar sobre el hecho de que en el Bautismo, Dios Padre, Hijo y Espíritu Santo nos hizo hijos suyos. 5 . Exciting Things Happening! Every 3 months we receive a cash payment from the campaign. Work is going on now in the Kitchen of the Parish Hall and soon the Furnace and the Rectory work will begin. Coffee Hour is back!!! Every Sunday after the 8:00 & 10:15 Masses in the Parish Hall. Thank You to the Volunteers who set up, priced or worked at the yard sale and those who came to find their treasure. Awesome! Sunday June 3rd is the Feast of Corpus Christi. The 11:45 Mass will be the last Mass of the day and it will be a Bi-lingual Mass. A Procession through town will follow Mass, taking the same route as the Good Friday Procession. The devotion to the Eucharist is the most noble because it has God as its object; it is the most profitable for salvation, because it gives us the Author of Grace; it is the sweetest, because the Lord is Sweetness Itself... (Pope St. Pius X) We have Silent Adoration at St. Mary & St. Andrew s Church Every Wednesday ~ Noon until 3pm. Bishop Robert Barron s Reflections Are available on our website: www. smsaparish.org Check it out! Jesus, Body and Blood, Soul and Divinity in the Blessed Sacrament! Father will be carrying Jesus in the Monstrance with the Knights of Columbus attending. First Communicants are encouraged to also attend dressed in their white dresses and dark suits. Hopefully a large number of faithful will also join in the procession. Corpus Christi Procession Cont d A Pot Luck Dinner in the Hall will conclude the day. For those who would not be able to walk the route, there will be a trailer with chairs to sit on, so you too can participate in the procession.
