Pope Francis November Prayer Intentions Each year, the Holy Father asks for our prayers for a specific intention each month. You are invited to answer the Holy Father s request and to join with the many people worldwide in praying for his intentions. This month we pray that the language of love and dialogue may always prevail over the language of conflict. Is someone in your family ill? Are you a new mother? Let us know! Advent Wreaths and Candles Advent wreaths and candles are on sale in the parish Gift Shop. Wreaths are $10.00 and candle sets are $5.00. It is time to collect money to help save God s little babies! We will begin our collection the weekend of Dec Please take a baby bottle and literature home with your family and then during Advent, ask family and friends to help you raise money that will be given to our local Women s Center, First Choice, as our church family comes together to help insure that babies will be saved! What a wonderful Christmas gift for our Lord, Jesus birth! We raised almost $2,000 last year, let s make that again this year!! 5 THIRTY THIRD SUNDAY IN ORDINARY TIME 5 St Peter s Christmas Angel Tree You have the opportunity again this year to make Christmas special for needy children. Beginning November 23, a Christmas tree will be in the lobby with names of children on it. You can select a child and purchase gifts for them. These children may not otherwise have a gift to open on Christmas morning. Thanks for your kindness. If you have questions contact Fern Bergeron Christmas Tree Sale The Knights of Columbus (Council 1019: Assembly 176) of Columbus, GA are having a Christmas Tree Sale on the Corner of Veterans Pkwy & 13th Street. The Sale begins on Black Friday (November 23rd). All profits will be used for local charities. Open weekends to 8:00 pm and week nights 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Trees vary between 5 to 11 ft size. St. Elizabeth Ann Seton - Mission 2904 Judson Bulloch Road, Warm Springs, GA Mass & Liturgical Ministries Schedule Sunday, November 25, 2:00 pm Mass Intention: Weekly Offertory Due to advanced deadlines during the time of November and December, the offertory for November 11th will be reported in the November 25th bulletin. Special Intentions Lectio Divina Bible Study Our Lectio Divina Bible study is held each Tuesday evening at 6:00pm. All parishioners are invited to attend. We wish our St. Peter s Parish Family a very happy and peaceful Thanksgiving weekend among friends and family. The office will be closing Wednesday, November 21st at 12:00 pm noon through Friday, November 23rd. Thanksgiving Wordsearch Last year's #igivecatholic campaign was a tremendous success as we raised $11,000. We were able to make much needed improvements to the Parish Hall, including painting and purchasing new chairs... new carpet was also donated. This year we would like to continue these improvements to include new video equipment in the Parish Hall as well as the vestibule. Also, we would like to start work on converting one of our classrooms to a hospitality room. This one-day online campaign, November 27 th, is the Tuesday after Thanksgiving, following Black Friday and Cyber Monday, and kicks off the charitable season and brings the Catholic community together to give thanks and give back. Your tax-deductible donation will be accepted at igivecatholic.org during a 24-hour period on #GivingTuesday, Nov. 27 th.
