When he had said this, he cried with a loud voice, Lazarus, come out! The dead man came out, his hands and feet bound with strips of cloth, and his face wrapped in a cloth. Parking after Church services on Sunday 11 November: St Mary s is expecting people to come to the 12.30pm service, on Sunday Nov 11 th. Many of these will be specially invited guests. Some of these will need carparks. 80 parishioners and their friends and family have indicated they will be coming. There will not be car parking available for all who want it. If you are coming to St Mary s for any of the activities planned after the 9am church services on Sunday 11 November, we are asking if you can please move your car to another place. We realise this is going to be difficult. It may be easier to park elsewhere before coming to the 9am service?? Some options are: 1) There is some limited street parking around Kangaroo Point. Be aware of limits to parking. 2) We have arranged parking at Holy Trinity Anglican Church, 68 Hawthorne Street, Woolloongabba, anytime after 11.30am. Park there and then get a lift back. (share with others) 3) We are trying to organise some reserved parking in the lane next to St Mary s. 4) There is paid parking available at St Vincent s hospital. 5) Parking elsewhere and then arrange a shared lift etc back to St Mary s. 6

7 6) Arrange to come to St Mary s for the church services etc that day another way. If you definitely need a car park at St Mary s after the 9.30am service please see Tony. Marie-Claire and I are opening the rectory verandah to parishioners on that day. We realise that many will be staying for some time and will need a place to sit or relax between activities. The wardens and I are grateful for all that parishioners are doing towards this event. We are trying to make the weekend as easy and accessible as possible, given the constraints of our site. There is a reply information sheet on how you can help for these events. Sun 25 th 11am Parish Christmas Lunch - please add your name to the list 4pm Concert Resonance Ensemble December Sunday 2 nd 6pm Advent Carol Service followed by supper (details to come.) Sunday 16 th 3pm Choral Concert Organic Arts FOCUS MAGAZINE: The last print edition of FOCUS is now available. Please take a copy as you leave Church this morning. Noosaville airy 1-bedroom lakeside unit available at mates rates in parts of holidays and term time weeks. Check with Ruth Bonetti ( ) or Antoni Bonetti ( ) for available dates. ITEMS FOR THE FOOD PANTRY: St Mary s collects non-perishable food and toiletry items, for donation to Holy Trinity Pantry, for distribution to those in need. Items can be left in a box near the font. Father Gary and Marie Claire will be taking holidays from 16 to 24 November. Canon Richard Tutin will be taking the services on 18 November. St Mary s has now installed a sound recorder. This means that the services can be recorded. We are planning to make the recordings of Sunday and other services available on our website. They will be able to be downloaded as an mp3 file. The little Fishes Playgroup disbanded on Friday, after 25 years, as a result of a lack of parents and children coming to this group. We thank Alexandra for the last eight years she has led this group. 7
