2 LifeWay Ridgecrest Conference Center Nestled in the Blue Ridge Mountains, just minutes from Asheville, North Carolina, rests the tranquil LifeWay Ridgecrest Conference Center. Natural stone buildings and thick mountain laurel create a restful charm throughout. The beautiful 1,300 acre campus climbs from valley to mountaintop, offering elegant comfort in guest lodging and meeting space with activities galore! Accommodations: Rooms include two queen beds, wireless internet access, telephones with voice mail messaging, irons and ironing boards, coffee makers, alarm clock with cd/ radio, and private bathroom facilities. Lifeway Ridgecrest Conference Center invites guests to experience the thrill and challenge of its on-campus adventure recreation course! Daring participants will enjoy the physical rush of scaling up a forty-foot climbing wall while safely harnessed to a security rope. What goes up, must come down so do it with a scream by leaping off Ridgecrest s rappelling tower. Still game for more? Test your balance and coordination skills on high rope adventures that are woven between towering hardwood trees. Finally, the latest addition in recreational challenges Battlefield Live! Teamwork and strategy are a must in this fast-paced, adrenaline-pumping game. Battlefield Live is a completely new game developed by Battlefield Sports. This enjoyable and safe combat game is much like a live computer game combined with arena laser tag. Each of these outdoor experiences is facilitated by trained leaders of Ridgecrest s Adventure Recreation Staff. It has made him one of our most sought-after speakers around the world. Dr. Robert Carter Rob is a scientist and speaker for CMI-US in Atlanta, Georgia. A marine biologist and geneticist (with a doctorate from the University of Miami) he was a co-researcher with the Institute for Creation Research on their GENE Project. Skip Tilton A former US Navy sonar technician, Skip now serves full time with CMI-US. He is a dynamic speaker and creation evangelist. Dr. John Sanford In genetic engineering circles John is known as the inventor of the Gene Gun. Dr. Charles Jackson is Coordinator of Campus Ministry for Creation Truth Foundation. He has 30 years experience as a science teacher, teacher trainer, and as a creation speaker/debater. Tom DeRosa Tom founded Creation Studies Institute (CSI) in 1988 and served under the late Dr. D. James Kennedy of Coral Ridge Ministries for 26 years. He is now the Executive Director of CSI.
