His passion is to know Christ, and to make Him known among unreached people groups (through ministry to kids), and to see today s youth become unconditional followers of Jesus Christ. His time is invested in international ministry (church planting/ youth ministry), along with itinerant speaking, weekly podcasts ( and with ministries through ROCK International ( Young Adult Session Scott DeGroff was born in Pennsylvania to Christian parents. He converted at age seven through a knowledge of his sinfulness and Christ s sufficiency to save. Keith left secular employment to give his time to the Lord s service in He is mainly engaged in an itinerant Bible teaching and gospel preaching ministry throughout North America, Western Europe, and Asia. He also writes various articles for Christian publications and websites. Married to Naomi since 2006, they have three daughters and a son. Young Adult Session Mike Attwood Children's Program The Children's Program is for children ages Although the age is 5-12, older children are permitted to attend the Program. The younger children also are welcome in the seminar sessions if parents would prefer. The Children's Program runs during the four seminar sessions, two of which are on Wednesday, and two on Thursday. During the the children are to be with their parents. Nursery A volunteer nursery sign-up will be at the Registration Desk for mothers (only) to sign up to share in this service. Some volunteers may be available, but parents should plan on participating in nursery work if necessary.

6 Victory in Jesus Mike Attwood Spiritual defeat alarms and depresses us as believers. Is it just to be accepted until we reach heaven, or can we know the victory that others experience? Mike has thought and spoken a great deal on this subject and will provide practical help and encouragement in this area. The Cross and Missions Bob Dadd of CMML The cross has inspired a worldwide missionary movement that continues to this day. God still sends men and women all over the world to preach the gospel and build up His church. There are practical challenges to go there from here. Learn about the work of CMML and their role in helping those who serve. Praying in the Holy Spirit Scott DeGroff Praying in the Holy Spirit is not a special experience reserved for a few Christians but should be the normal part of our prayer life. The cross has opened the way to God and the Holy Spirit continues an active ministry in helping us. Learn important lessons about prayer. Preaching the Cross Grady Dollar The supernatural message of the cross requires a supernatural power to communicate it to the hearts and minds of men and women and boys and girls. It is still this power that turns the world upside down and is vital for our witness today. Learn how we can know this in our ministry. Outside the Camp David Dunlap You cannot have both the approval of the world and Christ. It must be one or the other. This is true personally and ecclesiastically (i.e. church order). Learn to have sharper vision as to how worldly compromises can be become part of our Christian lives and church fellowships and how to reject them and cleave to Him. Prophecies of Christ s Sufferings The disciples seemed to understand the prophecies of the reign of Messiah but did not grasp His sufferings. The Lord asked, Ought not Christ to have suffered these things and to enter into his glory? Explore the miraculous prophecies concerning the Savior who would suffer. Women Living Out History Vickie Gaynier The cross has mobilized a powerful army of men and women throughout history. Vickie has done some creative work in making these historical figures come alive. They still speak powerful messages to us today. Learn valuable lessons from these heroes of the faith. (Women only). The Christ of the Cross There is no glory in the cross apart from the Person who died there. No seminar can exhaust this subject, but Keith will explore some things of the person of Christ in the time available. Occupation with the Lord Jesus is a spiritual refreshment, encouragement, and challenge that will lead us to worship. Seminar Descriptions Types and Shadows of the Cross The Old Testament references of the cross are referred to as types and shadows. Great events cast their shadows ahead and the cross loomed before our Lord all the way to Calvary. This study will help us look back and see how the shadow of the cross became substance when our Lord was crucified. Exalting the Lamb in Worship Mark Kolchin As the old hymn put it, we are lost in wonder, love and praise, as we view the cross. The only response is worship. But how should we worship? Mark will show us how we can learn to be the kind of worshippers that please God. Women at the Cross and at the Tomb Nadia Mikhael The gospels emphasize the high spiritual discernment of the women who interacted with the Lord. This is brought into sharp focus at the cross, tomb and resurrection. In this seminar for women, Nadia will open up in a devotional and practical way how we can love Him more who first loved us. (Women only). The Exceeding Sinfulness of Sin Steve Price The cross demonstrates the sinfulness of sin. This is not intended to depress or discourage us over our own failures, but to equip us to hate sin as God hates sin and to rejoice in what it means to be saved from its penalty, power and ultimately, its presence. Gospel Zeal Chris Schroeder The display of apathy toward eternal things can rob us of our zeal in the gospel. We need to be encouraged and challenged about this. Chris has been a consistent leader in gospel witness and reminds us of the great power of the gospel. If you feel your witnessing is lacking, be sure to attend this seminar. Sacrificial Stewardship Mike Stoudt Our Lord taught that we are to take up our cross and follow Him. This has practical implications in all our lives including cross-like stewardship. Learn some practical lessons in this important area and know something of the spiritual growth that will be realized in your life. The Cross and Consecration Rex Trogdon There is a cross for us as well. The instrument of death must be applied to self-will and in so doing will open to us the joy of the selfless life. We find by losing. We gain by giving. Learn this central lesson of the dynamic of the Christian life. Hymnology of the Cross Rex Trogdon What a thrill to sing and listen to great hymns of the faith inspired by the cross. Hymns have proven to be a powerful force in Christian thinking.
