10 About Author Hi, Hello, Namaste, Assalamualaikum Friends! My name is Praveen Sidh Shankar Pandey, born on 22 may, 1997 in a lower middle class family at Dharampur village, Lucknow city, Uttar Pradesh but I have never lived at my birthplace for a long time. I have always been living at Satna city, Madhya Pradesh. Lucknow is the city of Nawabs but at time of my birth the economic conditions of my family was not soo good as it is today. I am the first child of my parents and there are six members in my family including father, mother, my two younger brothers and a sister. Up to seventh standard, I have done my studies from a convent school and then further studies from CBSE board schools. I have passed my tenth standard from Bharatiya Vidhya Bhavan s Prism School and twelfth standard with commerce stream from St. Micheal s Senior Secondary School, Satna, Madhya Pradesh. Currently I am student of B.com Honors final year in Shri Rama Krishna College, Satna and my college is affiliated to APS University, Rewa, M.P. I like playing chess, reading and writing on different topics, chatting with some of my good friends and spending time with nature and junior friends. From childhood only, I always use to think on different matters going around the world and in my personal life. During school Day s I was very quiet, polite and screaming boy of my class. ix

11 Then one day my library teacher suggested me to write about things that I use to think up on. That suggestion motivated me to write. I begin writing on various subjects of discussion and in a short time my written content start taking the form of rhymes. I wrote many articles and poems in English as well as in Hindi language. After writing many poetries, I make first collection for my book and named the book as Kavyanjali. It took me almost four to five years for completing my first book and getting the same published. I gone through several psychological changes during this course of term and struggled a lot. I may define myself as Mr. Nobody with having simplicity as precious wealth and you just can t handle me for your own personal shake. According to one my best friends I am a mischievous person who keeps worry and respect in the heart but Chilies on Tongue. 12 Preface KAVYANJALI is collection of thirteen English language poetries, thirteen Hindi language poetries and fifty Shayari (Shayari is a form of poems). Kavayanjali is a Sanskrit name for girls meaning offering of poetry and that is exactly what this book is going to do. This book is ultimately going to give poems to its readers. English language poems are provided with complete summary so, that readers may able to understand the thinking and imagination behind each poem in most simple way. Summary of English poems is explained by me (author itself), but readers are free to have their own point of view. Readers may take out other possible detailed meaning of English poetries. This book is a very good combination of English and Hindi languages reading material. On, one hand it contains English poetries with summary and on another hand it has Hindi poetries plus Shayaria. Some of the Urdu words are also use in Hindi poetries and shayaria. Thinking and imagination that is associated and assorted to build up this book will stimulate you to scream different pictures in your mind. English and Hindi poetries of this book are based on different topics therefore it will recall many activities of your daily life as well of things which happens around you or going to be happen in future. In earlier days of my writing it s name was My thinking, My writing but I didn t found that name much effective therefore later on that name was changed and finally this book got its name as Kavyanjali. The name Kavyanjali suits perfectly with its inner content reading material. I hope readers will like this book and will appreciate its literary work and if readers are going to do so then in future, they will see few more good collections of Kavyanjali. Author xii

17 1. Poem Unstoppable Time Time is the thing that never stops, Wasting it is reducing our own crops, Time makes people to work in a right sequence, It is like bike that does not require license. In a calendar time brings many season, Different weathers have their own reason, Everything is created and depreciated by time, Aids most of wounds but retain its sign. Time never remains constant, It always rotates by a small movement, Time can bring happiness and joy, For innocents time is like moving toy. 16

18 Time does not wait for an individual, In addition, it may create big evil, Time is responsible for origin of our earth, It is very precious for one s birth. Sometimes it makes us to become sad, But another minute it force us to feel glad, It is very powerful and prime, And one day all things will be destroyed by time. O 17

19 Summary (Thinking and imagination behind poem) In this world, many objects, animals and human beings exist. Almost every object, animal and human beings travel from one place to another place for various needs and purposes. They all start from one place and stops at another. Time is only thing that have started from certain point but never rest at any point. It is continuously running and might be never going to stop. Time does not rest and take sleep. Its eyes always remain to be open. Time is like a river whose water keeps on flowing and whose water is never going to dry up. The persons who are capable of using that flowing river water they have maximum crop production (more opportunities) in their whole life but the persons who waste it they themselves reduces their crops production (decreases opportunities). There are millions of people living in this earth, some of them are very effective in their daily routine work but some of them are very lazy and wasting time is only their work. Wasting time is not a good habit because wasted time might have utilized into fruitful crop. Here fruitful crop means performing any work that gives you best positive results in the form monetary or non-monetary incentives. Unnecessary wasting time is the most foolish deed. There is very limited time for a human life and it is not enough to experience every events of the world. Wasted time cannot come back therefore time force us to work in organized manner and to have a fix 18

20 schedule for each day. It is time only because of which most of us get up early in the morning then go for work and at evening return to our home. It is the time only, because of which everything occur in most suitable manner. After a certain age limit every individual needs driving license from RTO (Regional Transportation Office) to drive motor bikes, cars, auto rickshaws and trucks on public roads but I think time is riding on such an imaginary vehicle and on such a public road which doesn't needs any license from the authorities. For getting license, we need to pass some theoretical and practical exams but I think time does not need to give such examinations. Time might have got blessings from supreme powers of the world to whom we called as God and because this only we human beings do not have any control over time. We can have best utilization of time but we could not stop time for our own shake. In a year, we have many seasons. Due to balanced biological arrangement of environment, a year divides into different period of weathers. In summer, we have hot weather with clear sky, in rainy season we have black clouds with heavy falling water drops, in winter season cold ice with fog and in spring season, we have fast blowing air with falling leaves from trees. Time brings different season on a calendar and it is very much important for farmers for harvesting crops and having maximum production. Demand and need of human beings have given birth to too many objects and things. As a result now in present age we are surrounded with many buildings, monuments, different machines, objects and personal things but with the passage of time and with change in trend every object and thing losses its value. Means everything creates by the time and is depreciates with 19

21 the passage of time. Millions of people are living in this earth. Out of them, many might have gone through some physical and mental wounds. Both the wounds have very bad and sad effects on victimized person. Many wounds gets aided, filled and removed by the time but sometimes it retains very serious signs on the minds of victimized person and continued to pass on generation to generation. As, we all know that, earth revolves round the sun and in a year we have three hundred sixty five days plus six hours. A day is consists of twenty-four hours and an hour is of sixty minutes and one minute is equal to sixty seconds. Means the mediums that are involved in the formation of time they do not remains constant and always rotates by a small movement. Here small movement denotes to the seconds hand of a clock. The persons who continuously failed at some point of time in their life they usually have common perception that their time is not good, going in wrong direction and it is not going to change. However, they might do not know that time never remains same and with only small success, it may give new direction of happiness and joy. For innocents time is like moving toy. The people who do not know the importance of each second for them time appears as a clock and a clock which appears as a toy. A toy that have hours hand, minutes hand and seconds hand. These hands always move in a fixed circular path along with a sound of tic-tac. Foolish people use to play prank with time and it becomes very blunder when time plays prank with them. For idiots time is like toy with which they use to play game. Time does not wait for an individual but sometimes it creates big evil. If good opportunities are 20

22 not grab at best possible time then some other person will grab it. The persons who are able to identify advantages at early stages they get good benefit. For example: when P.K. Public set up their school at rural area at xyz place then the Modern Book store was the first book store to understand the environment and to find out that very soon there will be good demand for books, notebooks, geometry boxes, pen, pencils and for other study material. In addition, there will be no other nearby bookstore selling study material. Sometimes time creates a big evil. If a person is not able to understand the early warning signal and small threats around him then a moment will come when these small and small threats will become big and cause heavy losses. For example, recently scientists warned to have big earthquake in Nepal but concerned government and authorities did not notice this warning because which it causes heavy loss to Nepal in result of collision of many historical monuments, buildings and in the form deaths. Time not only help us to grab opportunities and to identify threats but it is also a boon in gathering scarce resources, in planning and thinking, in coping with fluctuating conditions and in improving our self. Today s earth and universe which is in front of us have not been originated in ten seconds or in ten minutes or in ten hours or in ten days or in ten months and not even in ten years. Millions of years were required and passed in the process of formation of present world. The present universe, space and its contents is all game of time. Many scholars of science have proposed to the understanding of the exact formation of earth s history. The age of current earth is approximately one-third of the age of the universe. Study of scientists says that an immense amount of geological change has occurred in that time span and nearly more than four billion years 21

23 ago, the earth started forming. After entering in this color full world, we humans have gone through many dates and time. Many important dates and time remains in our mind and many are deleted or removed or forgot from our brain. I think that we humans can forget various dates and time but we never use to forget the date and time of our birth. It becomes precious because on that particular day we have entered into this beautiful world. And after birth every year on that special date of birth we use to have some celebration as well as we receive such well wishes and love which is quiet enough for us to have happiness and joy. Time plays very important role for harmony in relations. We usually become very sad and emotional when somebody who was very close to us lost his/her life or may be gets far away from us. In every turn of life we losses some past relations and at same movement gets in touch with new relations. Sad time is of losing relations and glad time is of forming new relations. Time is all mighty and prime as it had played a very vital role in creation of universe and in the future, it is going to play a vital of destruction. Time is very powerful as everything happens according to it only. Time is most important thing in performing any type of work. Time is only responsible for origin of our world and a day will come when everything will be destroys by time. A day will come when there will be no existence of human beings and of other living organisms. All manmade things will collapse and destroyed by time. In addition, almost everything will come to its end. All things, which we have created whether tangible or intangible, will sadly destroyed by the time. 22

Poem Save Tigers Tigers are one of the nature s wild life beauties, Brownish yellow with black strips are enough pretties, Tigers have great caliber of fast speed, Their motions are very difficult to read. Tigers are non-vegetarian animal and eat meat, Big preys become central focus for having treat, Tigers drinks water from rivers, ponds and lake, These are best sources for them to have break. Many times they fail s to catch and grab their target, But always deserve chance to walk on red carpet, Tiger have gifted us a lot of thing, In their absence, wildlife will be nothing, Poaching tigers is a deed done by silly, It is like murdering your own family. 23

25 Only seventeen hundred tigers left in our country, In addition, there is no tiger alive in our own city, From origin of the Earth, they became our nation s pride, Without them culture of India might have not glorified. In past, tigers were most scaring animal, Now this particular specie is in big trouble, It is the high time to become responsible and defend, Let us make seventeen hundred as seventeen thousand.
