3 ESP Lab News I AM THE LIGHT GOING TO MEET THE LIGHT!! ONLY GOODNESS SHALL RESULT!! MYSTERIOUS MAMA ISIS Changing Your Beliefs Will Change Your Reality By Michael Manning, VP of ESP LAB Our beliefs are the filtering system through which we perceive reality. The beliefs you hold actually create your reality. We develop our beliefs as a result of our habit patterns, our experiences, our decisions, and through social conditioning. Our beliefs set our boundaries in life, and therefore we become limited by what we believe we can or cannot do. Henry Ford said, Whether you think you can or you think you cannot, you are right. When we become aware of how limiting or counterproductive some of our beliefs are, we set out to change them to more productive and less limiting beliefs. The difficulty in changing a belief is that we think the belief can be changed through some sort of mental process. The reality is that our beliefs are maintained by our own suppressed energy patterns (psychic impressions) and cannot be changed through a mental process. The energy in the psychic impression is what maintains the belief and keeps it alive. Clearing the psychic impression is the only way a belief can be changed. Pushing the old belief out by force does not work because the psychic impression keeping the old belief alive has not been discharged. The collection of psychic impressions which we have accumulated, along with the thoughts, decisions, conclusions and emotions in those impressions, is referred to as case. Case can be thought of as bringing old emotional baggage, misunderstanding, and righteous computations into the present and superimposing them onto the present moment. The Spiritual Being is immortal, perfect, and whole. That is You before you developed a case, became associated with a physical universe and eventually a physical form. This editorial is designed to share some special reminders and tips for you and so delightfully enhance your personal growth and progress. Do dive in, enjoy, laugh with us, accept your highest good & WIN often." Let s add more fun and effectiveness to your Spirit Party! One of the Old testament Psalms starts out: "Make a joyful noise unto the Lord..." Sounds like a sneaky old fashioned way of starting a Spirit Party to me. My later version went something like: "Come one, come all to my party, come join in the joy and the fun. We'll eat, drink and play very hearty. Our battles are already won." Let's see if I can remember enough of one of my pet poems that I wrote about 33 years ago to help get our fresh handles on Spirit Party Fun & Effectiveness: "Do you dream of a life that's trouble free, all gold and ambrosia beneath a tree? With no fatigue or muscle ache and never another yard to rake? Sounds very tempting and that's no lie, but beware! It's a trap for you and I! Stark challenge is what helps us grow and stretch our wings while here below. To strive and strive sure is no sin - especially when it's us who win. Strive on, good friend, though you be tired, though in confusion you seem mired. Victory is its own reward, and brings us all so close to God." That's as close as I remember it and the hard copy went the way of all flesh many years ago. But the idea remains that challenge is our spur to growth and without it we'd have nothing to celebrate. And our Spirit Party is a natural ongoing celebration of continuing achievement making all things better and better with NO upper limit!" That makes the singing & dancing with our Spirit Friends ever more enjoyable. If you're hesitant about your own Spirit Party do drop in to Astral Lab any time and see for yourself how lovely and productive it can be. We all have our habitual methods of coping with perplexing problems. My personal pet way is to first defuse them with some form of ridiculous humor, then turn to our Spirit People for guidance, if at all possible in the relaxed atmosphere of your Spirit Party. ~ Al Al wrote the above comments ten years ago. They are fresh and alive today. Sometimes we consider "living the charmed life" means living a life with no challenges. We did leave the Garden of Eden some time ago, and as my insurance agent says, "I live in the real world." Some would say that Saturn is the ruler of this world and he teaches through hardships and challenges. All of us have known both, including Al Manning, myself and yes, even the Master Teacher Jesus was not exempt. Question is-- what do we do as we face obstacles and difficulties? The metaphysical approach as practiced by Al would be to know these are opportunities for spiritual growth and to live, love, and laugh our way through them.
