As you know, I am a graduate of Cal, and it was at Newman Hall that I discovered the richness of the Catholic faith and my own vocation for the priesthood. Perhaps this is one of the reasons why the Paulist Fathers thought I would be a good candidate to serve the university parish community in Berkeley. I have appreciated and am truly grateful for my time at St. Paul the Apostle. Everyone knows that a priest keeps a soft spot in his heart for his first assignment, and I am definitely no different. You have been a tremendous part of my priestly journey, helping me to be the priest and person that I am today. I have loved serving you the past three years and will always be thankful for welcoming me into this wonderful community as a newly ordained baby priest.
