Welcome and Announcements Passing of the Peace Leader: People: The peace of the Lord be with you. And also with you. Special Music In the Garden Dobrinski Joyful Ringers Call to Worship Leader: People: Leader: People: Leader: All: Christ is alive. He is risen from the dead. The Holy One calls us to worship and praise. Baptized with the power of the Holy Spirit, We live with Christ in our hearts. Clap your hands and shout to God with loud songs of joy. Sing praises to God, who fills the world with forgiveness and grace. Hymn #268 Crown Him with Many Crowns Prayer of Confession Almighty God, you have raised Jesus from death to life and crowned him Lord of all. We confess that we have not bowed before him or acknowledged his rule in our lives. We have gone along with the ways of the world and failed to give him glory. Forgive us and raise us from sin, that we may be your faithful people, obeying the commands of our Lord Jesus Christ, who rules the world and is the head of the church, his body. Amen Assurance of Forgiveness (1 Corinthians 15:54-57) One: All: Death has been swallowed up in victory. Where, O death, is your victory? Where, O death, is your sting? The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law. But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. We Proclaim God s Word Anthem All Things Bright and Beautiful Rutter Chancel Choir Please stand if you are able.
