The proceeds help fund the youth service project trips for Summer Christmas Caroling, Cookies, and Cocoa Sunday, December 2pm in the Round Building Sunday, December 17 will be our annual Christmas caroling to our homebound members. It s a wonderful opportunity for us to spend time with these dear ones, and to let them know they are an important part of our church family even though they can t always be physically present with us. Many of us have stories to share about how much these Christmas visits have meant to our unwillingly absent members. This year, especially, several of our members are grieving the recent loss of loved ones. I want to ask you to make time in your busy holiday schedule to include them in your Advent and Christmas plans by joining in our Caroling event on Sunday, December 17. We ve decided that this year, we carolers will begin with hot chocolate, tea and cookies in the Round Building. After caroling, we ll finish up and head home early to give everyone an evening at home for family preparations. No need for you to bring anything except your heart filled with love and care for our homebound members. We ll gather in the Round Building at 2 pm. and then head out on several routes to visit with our members. After your group has finished, around 4 pm, enjoy a peaceful Advent evening. ~ Blessings, all, Pastor Martha United Methodist Women Christmas Tea Saturday, December 16, 2:00 p.m., Round Building All women in the church are invited to attend the Christmas Tea. Enjoy some holiday tea and goodies, fellowship with women of the church, and holiday music. UMW traditionally supports David and Margaret Youth and Family Services at Christmas time. You can bring a check made out to Claremont UMW, and we send one check to the David and Margaret Home as a holiday donation. Please bring a friend! 4

We re headed out to the Victoria Gardens Cultural Center for an evening of political satire with the infamous Capitol Steps Comedy Troupe ** latest album by out now ** Over 30 years ago, the Capitol Steps began as a group of Senate staffers who set out to satirize the very people and places that employed them. No matter who or what is in the headlines, you can bet the Capitol Steps will tackle both sides of the political spectrum and all things equally foolish. What more would you expect from the group that puts the "MOCK" in Democracy?! For more information, text/call Ed Kania, (909) Pssst: What a great idea for a stocking stuffer 211 W.
