John S. Bakas Increase your knowledge about our faith at our weekly Bible study class. You ll have a chance to ask Fr. John questions and engage in interesting discussions with your fellow parishioners in a casual setting. Don t miss this wonderful opportunity to grow in your faith. Classes meet in the General Assembly Room. Co-Ed Bible Studies classes are every Tuesday at 11:00 am. CAREGIVER NEEDED A family is looking for a caregiver who speaks Greek and can work full time. 8 PHILOPTOCHOS V.I.P. NEWS I would like to welcome everyone back from the summer vacation. The VIP board had a meeting and the following events have been scheduled. October 26, 2017 Trip to Camarillo church St. Demetrios October 26 is the feast day of St. Demetrios so it would be great for everyone that celebrates their name day that day to participate. Donation of $20.00 for the bus. St. Demetrios church will provide a complementary lunch for us. Please be at the church by 7:30 am. The bus will depart at 8:00 am. The priest in Camarillo will start the liturgy when we get there. Reservations call Mary Kezios November 12, 2017 Artoclasia This is the day the VIP offer the Artoclasia for the health of all its members. Please make every effort to come to church that day. We will also sponsor the coffee hour. November 19, 2017 Philoptochos Thanksgiving Dinner. Details see Philoptochos info. December 14, 2017 VIP Christmas Party.
