Peter Walker at or before the sealing & delivery of these presents the receipt whereof he doth hereby acknowledge, Hath Bargained & sold unto Peter Walker one Certain Tract or Parcell of land lying & being in the County of Goochland & Parrish of St. James Northam Containing by estimation one hundred & fifty Acres be the same more or less and bounded as followeth Viz. Beginning at a corner pine on Thomas Underwoods line thence along ColQ Symes line to a corner red oak thence along Symes line to a Corner ring oak on John Bradshaws & Symes li~e t0ence along the s? Bradshaws line to a corner ring Oak on Tho~ Underwood s Ilne thence along the s? Underwoods line to the first Station To Have Hold & peaceably to Enjoy the aforesaid tract of land above bounded with all houses Orchards Gardens ways woods Underwoods, Improvements, etc. with all & singular the Improvements & appurtenances thereunto belonging or in any wise appertaining from the claim right & title of him the said William Whitlock his heirs Exors Adm~s or Assigns or any other person or persons whatsoever to the the only proper use & behoofe of him the said Peter Walker his heirs Execut:s Adm:s & Assigns for Ever, & the s? William Whitlock doth for himself his heirs &c. Covenant promise & agree that he will from time to time and at all times hereafter against all persons Whatsoever the right of the above ment? tract of Land & Premises Warrant & for Ever Defend to the said Peter Walker his heirs &c. & the said William Whitlock doth for himself his heirs &c further promise that they shall and will be ready at times hereafter to make any further right Conveyance or ti~le that the s? 4 WILLIAM WHITLOCK TO THOMAS WHITLOCK GOOCHLAND COUNTY, VIRGINIA 1764 DB 8 pg This Indenture made this fifth day of January in the year of our Lord one Thousand Seven hundred and Sixty four between William Whitlock of the parrish of St.Jameses Northam in the County of Goochland of the one part and Thomas Whitlock of the Same parrish and County of the other part Witnesseth that the said William Whitlock for Divers Good Causes & Considerations him thereunto moving but more Especially for the Valuable Consideration of Seventy pounds Current money to him in hand paid by the said Thomas Whitlock the recept he doth hereby Acknowledge and himself therewith fully Satisfied Contented & paid hath fully Clearly & absolutely acquited Exonerated & Discharged the said Thomas Whitlock & by these presents hath bargained Sold aliened Enfeoffed and Confirmed & by these presents Doth bargain sell Alien Enfeoff and Confirm unto the said Thomas Whitlock to him & his heirs forever one Certain Tract or parcel of Land Containing Two hundred & fifty Acres it being part of a greater Tract of six hundred acres it being Land patented in the name of Richard Oglesby bearing date the Twenty eighth day of Septem~ one Thousand Seven hundred & Thirty in the fourth year of our Reign and Lying in the County of Goochland on the branches of Beaverdam Creek and bounded as followeth viz.
