Last week, Ray shared her favorite movie, and this week it s Clint s turn! It s a good thing you re here, because you can t watch AT THE MOVIES episodes online at home! Now, let s listen to Nitro explain the rules before we find out what Clint s favorite movie is. I saw some generous Konnect kids! Here s the Point Clint will show us in his favorite movie today: Exchange your pain for God s purpose. Now repeat it after me: Exchange your pain (pause) for God s purpose. (pause) That s it! Now that YOU know the Point, watch for it in the movie. Wow! You found some great ways to turn plain, old trash pieces of foil into something so much better! Let God turn the bad things in your life into something good this week, too! Say, CHOOSE GOD S PURPOSE! to your neighbor. (pause) You ve been so amazing! I bet a lot of you ve gotten Dot stickers from your Small Group Leaders already! Now, watch this worship video with me so we can all know about worshipping God! Watch the offering video, while I choose two friends to pick up the gifts you brought for God! Some really bad things happened to the main character in that movie, and bad things might happen to us, too. But God can bring good out of it when we choose His way instead of our own. Today s Verse talks about that. Say it with me: Romans 8:28 in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose. You sounded brilliant! It s time to do an activity with your Small Group Leader! Get ready get set GO! When I found out Jesus died for me to make me right with God, I was surprised He loves me so much and wants to listen to and answer every one of my prayers! If you want to follow Jesus, too, let your Small Group Leader know, TODAY! Having Jesus in your heart fills you with God s Holy Spirit and helps you to exchange your pain for God s purpose. Now I ll pick two kids to pick up our offering while the rest of us watch the offering video to find out why we give money to God. When you re hurt, you may want to pay back the person who hurt you with evil. But you have God s love, so you can be healed and pay them back with a blessing instead! Let s say our Bible verse about that together! 1 Peter 3:9 Don t repay evil for evil. Instead, pay them back with a blessing. Great job! Now, let s play a game with our small groups to find out what s evil, and what s a blessing! God gives us a lot of examples in the Bible about how to live for Him, but without Jesus, we won t be able to do it. Let your Small Group Leader know if you re ready to ADMIT your sin, BELIEVE Jesus died for you, and CHOOSE to depend on God s power to help you say, No! to sin! That s when God can change you and give you the power to live a life that shares BLESSINGS. Ask God to let His love show in you every time you re hurt.
