4 RIVER MINISTRY SPOTLIGHT The Option House is the only domestic violence shelter serving both women and their children in the Central Valley region of San Bernardino County. The Option House is a non-profit corporation serving San Bernardino County since They work together with their community partners to assist individuals and families to provide 24 hour crisis intervention and emergency shelter services. Women and their children may stay at the shelter days. They also offer outreach programs for those who are not eligible for shelter. Services include: counseling, education, intervention, advocacy, food, clothing, and support services. The agency also provides transitional housing, legal services and year around education and awareness to family violence victims; last year they provided services to over 2000 people! Option House, Inc. is committed to empowering victims of domestic violence by providing all these services as well as, promoting health services for an overall well-being. OFFERING SCHEDULE: The people of The River believe in investing in outreach activities. One of the ways that we do this is by supporting both financially and prayerfully a number of different organizations, ministries and Christian groups. There will be two morning offerings each Sunday. The first one is for the General Fund. 5 Sunday, June 7 TODAY BAKE SALE FOR REFUELED HIGH SCHOOL SUMMER TRIP will take place this morning instead of cookie time in the fellowship hall following both services. Come checkout the variety of baked goods they will have for sale, and support the students! VOLUNTEERS NEEDED! Cookie time after 2 nd service is in need of volunteers to bring cookies and help clean up through the summer. With vacations, it s difficult to find folks willing and able to help. 7 PASTOR SCOTT S SERMON NOTES Truth that Transforms Romans 12:9-21 Getting your marching orders. Verses 9-13: Paul gives a series of that become an incredible guide to being a.
