2 The Bible shows us that Jesus gave all He had to reach the lost. There is no greater love than this. All around the world and right here in our city are lost, forgotten and broken people. Our church exists for those who aren t here yet and we will make bold moves to reach them with the love of Christ. Through Vision Builders we invest in missionaries and missions organizations at home and around the world, who meet physical needs and bring the hope of Christ to those who need it most. We want to begin this year by prayerfully asking God what He can do through us, over-and-above our normal giving, to help build His vision for our church GOAL: $500,000 to Local & Global Missions

Global In Matthew 28, Jesus commands us to go into all the world and preach the Gospel to ALL of creation. Our church supports 60 missionaries and organizations all over the world.

Through Vision Builders, we will not only continue this support, but increase our support through your generosity. Everyone, in every nation, deserves a chance to hear the Gospel.

5 BOYS & GIRLS MISSIONARY CHALLENGE Boys and Girls Missionary Challenge (BGMC) is committed to beginning the process of missions awareness, concern, and stewardship in young lives. They are challenging kids to reach the world by introducing them to The Great Commission at the earliest possible age. Imagine a generation of adults that have grown up with an awareness of and compassion for others. We partner with BGMC to provide resources to missionaries and organizations throughout the world who are actively sharing the hope of Jesus with the next generation. CONVOY OF HOPE EUROPE Convoy of Hope Europe (COHEU) is a faith-based, non-profit organization providing resources in Europe and worldwide through feeding programs, community building and disaster relief for the socially weak and underprivileged. Through coordination with local governments, churches and private donors, COHEU targets regions of extreme hunger, poverty and disease, with the goal of developing sustainable solutions for communities beyond the physical resources provided. It is a vision of transforming an area physically, socially and spiritually through ethical humanitarian action to preserve future generations.

6 BETHLEHEM BIBLE COLLEGE Bethlehem Bible College is an interdenominational college which uses Arabic as its primary language of instruction. It exists to train people to serve Christ in the world and Advocate a Palestinian evangelical perspective and Model Christ through community development. COMMUNITY CONCERN Community Concern stands up for the basic human rights for children and families, for helping the poor and needy, for feeding the hungry, poverty alleviation, educating the unschooled and tutoring those already in school, helping with vocational training, prevention of child labour, starting up micro-enterprise development, mobilizing women to stand up for the rights of their own children and families, working with drug addicts, destitute children, the abused, victims of disease, homelessness, the tsunami affected and other hurting people in our community. CHINA TRAINING NETWORK The China Training Network exists in order to promote the growth of the Christian church by training leaders and partnering with Chinese believers to plant churches.

7 FRONTIERS Frontiers has seen worldwide growth and change, including international expansion which has brought as many workers from outside the U.S. as from within. Frontiers now has sending bases in 25 different countries that are recruiting, training, and sending church-planting teams, sharing Jesus in over 40 Muslim countries, and facilitating the start of hundreds of communities of Muslim-born believers. Since 1982, Frontiers has helped reduce the number of unengaged Muslim people groups to 1,000+. For the first time, we can see the end we ve been working toward, but our goal of bringing Jesus to Muslims in these people groups remains. We look forward to the day when our work is done, and the message of the Gospel has been brought to every tribe, tongue, and nation (Revelation 5:9). SOUTH INDIAN OUTREACH South Indian Outreach cares for the most vulnerable people in India using services that are effective, holistic, and bring long term results. Our goal is to not just alleviate the effects of poverty, but eradicate it.

8 INNER CITY CHRISTIAN MINISTRIES Inner City Christian Ministries: ICCM Life Center is an urban ministry center committed to transforming impoverished people through the power of Jesus Christ. Life Center reaches out to hurting people and works with them for the long-term. They go to people where they are: in the streets, homeless shelters and prisons. They reach society s throwaways - people struggling with addictions, the homeless, un-parented, uneducated and unskilled. They share the love of Jesus with lonely teens, gang members, the violent, socially challenged and incarcerated. Life Center is much more than a church. It is a refuge, a discipleship and life skills training center, a spiritual treatment center, a place for job training and youth tutoring, and a teen hangout. WYCLIFFE BIBLE TRANSLATORS For more than 70 years, Wycliffe has helped people around the world translate the Bible into their own languages. When people finally get the Bible in their own language, lives often change in amazing ways. People are transformed as they are led to Jesus Christ and a right relationship with God. That s why Wycliffe Bible Translators exists to help speakers of these remaining languages get the Bible for themselves.

Vision Builders is committed to funding the growth of the church locally through ministering to the lost, forgotten and broken in our community. We do that by giving to and serving with organizations who reach at risk children and families, hosting events that connect Christ Place to our city, preparing for future Christ Place campuses and raising up Christian leaders through CPLC. 10 CHI ALPHA Chi Alpha a Spirit-empowered, diverse community of believers on university campuses, declaring in word and lifestyle our faith in Jesus Christ, equipped to fulfill our purpose in God s global plan. They reconcile students to Christ, equipping them through Spirit-filled communities of prayer, worship, fellowship, discipleship and mission to transform the university, the marketplace, and the world. CHRISTIAN HERITAGE Christian Heritage is a Christ-centered ministry that works to fulfill the purpose of offering hope to children and families through foster care, family outreach and safe families for children. CITY IMPACT City Impact empowers under-resourced communities through wholistic youth, family, and neighborhood development. They aspire to be the best in the world at seeing, investing in, and encouraging the unique strengths of under-resourced youth and families so that their leadership makes a lasting positive impact within their communities.

11 PREGNANCY CENTER Everyday young women come to the Pregnancy Center for answers. Many of them feel trapped and believe the only choice they have in an unintended pregnancy is abortion. The Pregnancy Center gives counsel, support, free services, and grace when it is needed most. They provide women complete information about all of the options to help them make life-affirming choices. GOOD NEWS PRISON & JAIL MINISTRY Good News Prison and Jail Ministry places Christian chaplains in jails and prisons to minister to the spiritual needs of inmates and staff. Good News has developed several practical, life-giving programs that introduce inmates and staff to Christ and help them grow in their knowledge of Him and His Word. IMPACT MINISTRIES Impact Ministries provides easy access for inmates and their families to get effective help from the prison ministries which best serve their needs. They can find counseling services in their area, or they can locate a ministry to request literature, Bible study courses or simply request prayer support.

12 I HEART LINCOLN I Heart Lincoln is a one-week local mission trip for Christ Place students going into 6th-12th grade. The mission for the week is to empower our students to serve their city. L5 YOUTH RANCH L5 Youth Ranch exists to provide a safe and positive experience for children and families to learn about the saving Hope of Jesus Christ in an authentic western environment. NEBRASKA FAMILY ALLIANCE Nebraska Family Alliance exists to advance Family, Freedom and Life by influencing policy, mobilizing prayer and empowering people. PEOPLE S CITY MISSION People s City Mission s mission is to be a witness for Christ among the poor and homeless, serve their needs, and advocate their cause to the community at large.

13 ROYAL FAMILY KIDS Royal Family Kids includes a one-week camp as well as a 9-month mentoring program for kids who have been abused or neglected. Their mission is to create life-changing moments for children of abuse. SAFE FAMILIES FOR CHILDREN Safe Families for Children (Safe Families) surrounds families in crisis with caring, compassionate community. They are a nonprofit, volunteer movement that provides hope and support to families in crisis in our local communities. They are motivated by compassion to keep children safe and out of foster care. REFUGEE & INTERNATIONAL MINISTRIES Christ Place Church partners with organizations like Lutheran Family Services for the opportunity to connect with refugee families when they arrive to Lincoln. We assist with things like setting up the apartment, giving towards their first rent payment and helping get acclimated to their new city.

14 CHRIST PLACE COMMUNITY OUTREACH Christ Place exists for those who aren t here yet. We will give of our resources to host events like Easter Eggstravaganza, Trunk N Treat and the Back to School Bash to bless our city and give people the opportunity to connect with our church outside of a weekend service. CHRIST PLACE LEADERSHIP COLLEGE Through CPLC, Christ Place raises up future Christian leaders to impact our world. Our mission is to build servant-leaders who are on God s mission to see souls saved and lives changed. We believe that as students grow their character and the depth of relationship with God, the strength of their leadership will follow. CONVOY OF HOPE Convoy of Hope is a faith-based, nonprofit organization with a driving passion to feed the world through children s feeding initiatives, community outreaches and disaster response.

15 Future If we reach our 2018 goal of $500,000, these are some of the new projects we are excited to support.

16 CONVOY OF HOPE - Feed ONE We want to feed 200 children a year by partnering with COH-Feed one. Each day millions of children suffer from hunger and malnutrition. Ending world hunger requires holistic solutions. These solutions start with a warm bowl of food Currently, they feed children in Tanzania, South Africa, Philippines, Nicaragua, Honduras, Kenya, Haiti, Guatemala, Ethiopia, El Salvador and the Dominican Republic. I HEART WEST POINT We want to create a local mission trip opportunity to West Point, Nebraska. From Thursday- Sunday the team will serve the West Point campus doing construction projects, as well serve the city through special activities in the city geared towards connecting with families with children. PARENT LIFE Parent Life is a ministry under Youth for Christ. It s not a program, but rather a lifetime mentorship. Their weekly meetings are held at our Van Dorn Campus. Beyond allowing this ministry to use our space, we want to begin providing them monthly support.

17 ROYAL FAMILY KIDS INTERNATIONAL In June of 2018 we are taking our passion to see life-changed through Royal Family Kids Camp overseas. We want to send a team of people to work with a local church in Mogale, South Africa to help run their own Royal Family Kids Camp. PRISON VENUE We are praying towards the opportunity to make the State Prison a Christ Place satellite campus. We would have a team of people attend service there, alongside the inmates, while streaming in the service. SUPPORT NEW MISSIONARIES & ORGANIZATIONS We want to expand our ability to start providing monthly support to ten additional missionaries and organizations who share our same heart to impact families and children at-risk. TEEN REACH ADVENTURE CAMP Teen Reach s mission is to provide quality, structured programs (Boy camps, Girl camps, and mentorship programs) for at-risk youth ages who reside in foster care.
