Get ready to bid on great items and services donated by area businesses and supporters, while you enjoy an evening of fellowship, food,, and fun! As part of this year's auction theme, "NECS Art Prize," art work done by students will be on display and up for bid! A Benefit for the Martin family is planned for Saturday, October 20th, 2018, from 3:00PM-7:00PM. at the Rothbury Community Center 7180 S. Oceana Drive, Rothbury. A Spaghetti Supper is planned. $5 per person or $20.00 for a family. The evening will also include a 50/50 raffle, Silent Auction, and Bake Sale. We also have a quiet viewing room in the Upper Room, access in the narthex, for those who need to leave the sanctuary but would like to view the worship service. The ALS System is available for those with hearing impairments. Satan wants to destroy the relationship God desires and Jesus gave his life for. A relationship that honors God and glorifies him is something Satan does not want us to have. Shame is used by Satan to keep us a distance from God. Shame causes us to go into hiding from God and others. TODAY, God in his love offers us an antidote to shame. PRAYER CONCERNS Jan Wiersema is struggling with abdominal pain and shingles. Lois Bush was scheduled to return home on Saturday. Cal Weesies continues to recover at Heartland in Whitehall. Chris Martin continues to recover from his kidney and pancreas transplant. Prov.22:9 ANNOUNCEMENTS Dear loved ones, I have read 1 Peter chapter 5: especially 10,11 so many, many times in the last 10 years... now, I know in my heart, that it has been my church, ALL of you, who have helped restore me through your love of Christ. I don t know how to say what I feel in order to adequately thank you. And that s a first for me- you all know I can talk!! May God bless you all as you have blessed me and my small family.
