Look at a timetable: What do you think are the necessary qualifications to be a fisher of people? What sort of people was looking for? Whole Class Activity: Create a WANTED needs you poster Include the attributes needed, activities they might be required to do and how they must live as wanted. Pleanary: Share ideas and assess if doing this would mean that we are making the kind of world that wanted.

Who are the goodies and who are the baddies? Read Luke 10:30-37 What answer do you think the expert in the Law is expecting? Why? Why do you think told this story? Explain was talking to many people who didn t like Samaritans at all. They would have been shocked to find out that he was the character who cared for the beaten up man. How shocked would you be to find that the robber in our pictures was the one being the Good Samaritan. People would have expected to say that another Jew had looked after the man. They would expect to respect the priest and the Levite.. Who do you admire in the story and why? What qualities are they demonstrating? In Groups: Use drama to explore the story from different points of view. Levite, Priest, Good Samaritan, injured man. Plenary: Watch each groups drama guess character

There are a number of Christian Charities that use the word Samaritan in their name Why? Watch Video on Christian Aid: Group Work take notes on who, how, when charity was started what the charity does who the charity helps how the charity follows teaching How people can get involved Groups report back. Is showing love for neighbours linked with charitable work? showed love in his actions and his stories and its important for Christians to do the same.
