1 8:30 service + September 9, 2018 Worshiping as a Family orporate worship is for people of all ages, and the presence of children is a gi to the church. All are welcome here. Other ophons for children include nursery (ages 8 weeks 2 years), the cry room, and children s worship during the sermon at the 8:30 service (ages 3 1st grade). 3 SEATED God calls us to confess our sin from Psalm 111:10; 51:17 The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom. Blessed is the one who fears the Lord always, but whoever hardens his heart will fall into calamity. The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit; a broken and contrite heart, O God, you will not despise. We confess our sin Gracious Redeemer, you are generous and kind, and you always give us what we need to live godly lives. But we take your generous grace for granted, so we applaud ourselves rather than honoring you, forgedng that we depend on your sustaining hand. We have used the goods you have given us as if they belonged only to us, forgedng that every good is a gif from you. We have defined our success by our possessions, as if life in this dying age is all that mahers, forgedng the coming age of your immortal kingdom. We have clutched your gifs and your wealth for our own use alone, as if we have them for our prideful plans and not your wise plan, forgedng people in need whom we can serve with your love.
