4 Newsletter Submissions Submit to or the church office by 10am Wednesday mornings. SCS Brunch TODAY Plan now to stick around after the service today for a delicious brunch including breakfast casserole with eggs, sausage, bacon, & hash browns as well as yogurt cups with granola & fresh fruit & a variety of breakfast breads. Brunch service will begin at 9:15am and be offered until 12:00 noon. Your generous donations help BVMC families attend Sarasota Christian School. OneConcert is back & it s 7pm. OneConcert is an extreme worship event held by area worship musicians from different churches to encourage unity of faith through regular experiences of worshiping together. We gather as One Body with One Spirit to give One Concert of praise to our One Lord with our One Faith. Look for the event on our Facebook page & invite your friends. Pine Ridge Work Day - Twenty six people came to Pine Ridge last Saturday for our work day. We repaired plumbing, replaced torn screens, cleaned gutters and created 80 bags of yard debris. What a blessing for this community! Thank you to all who shared in the worthy project last Saturday. Dennis Bontrager, Minister of Service THANK YOU FOR GIVING LIFE! - Blessings to the 28 persons who came to donate blood last Wednesday. Twenty six units of volunteer healthy blood were collected. Thank you! Carolyn Stoll, Faith Community Nurse Brad and Brenna Stuery Graber arrived safely in France last Thursday. They are in language school and are adjusting to a new life style and culture. Continue to pray as they meet new friends and learn the language that God may use them in a powerful way during their three-year term. Dennis Bontrager, Minister of Service Old-Time HymnSing, Sunday, Feb We've invited the other Mennonite churches in the area to join us for our annual hymn sing. In addition to lots of congregational singing that includes a request time, the Women's Trio and Teddy Wright will share special music. Please bring finger foods to share in the fellowship time following the service. 3 Community Builders The next phase on the Meadows property will need experienced painters as well as those experienced with cutting floor tile with a wet saw. We will also need trim carpenters. More details will follow. A huge THANK YOU to all of the volunteers who have helped on this project so far. Remember, all of the proceeds of this sale will be given to BVMC. Details and sign-up at the Welcome Center. Bontrager Family - Friday, Feb. 7pm. - The Bontrager family from Kalona, IA will present a concert of sacred bluegrass music. They have ten children who all play a variety of instruments. An offering will be received. New Life Sound & The Shenk Bluegrass Band performing at BVMC on Sun, Feb 17 at 6pm. All proceeds, from the offering will go towards the Brad & Brenna Steury Graber budget. The Grabers are beginning a three-year term of service with Mennonite Mission Network in France.
