We thank God for the education ministry of Oyate Concern Christian School; may they continue to provide stability and growth for Lakota children even as the school faces changes.

2 We pray for ministry partners with Central Plains, especially our Anabaptist siblings in the Congo who are experiencing untold hardship in the midst of a brutal war, and for our sisters and brothers in Venezuela experiencing severe economic hardships; may the armor of God protect them in their struggles against dark principalities and powers. NEW SIDEWALKS Please look over the poster on the narthex easel about the potential concrete project. The Trustees are waiting for some additional bids at this time. We hope the project can be completed sometime this fall. If you have any questions or comments, please talk to a Trustee. Some estate funds will be used for the majority of this special project but we would like to have the congregation contributing also. Current estimates are about $40,000 for the entire project. Please direct all gifts to Chris Eisenbeis with the designation of sidewalk project. Missing: The Child Protection Team is missing two of the video training flash drives. We are down to one and there are several people who still need to watch it & sign the paper so we stay in compliance with the Child Protection Policy. If you who have watched this video, please check to see if you may have a flash drive in your home. If you do, please return it promptly so that it is available to the rest. Thank you. There are sign- up sheets on the narthex table for workers & bars/cookies. We are also collecting paper products for Emmaus House until July 18. There is a box in the narthex for your donations. Thank You! Worship leaders past and present, please mark your calendars now and plan to attend a worship-leading workshop led by Pastor Nick on Thursday, August 23 at 7:30 p.m. here at church. Our recent congregational survey revealed a strong appreciation for well-planned worship services - come and be part of making that happen. If you are on the schedule for worship leaders - or would like to be! Please plan to attend this meeting.

4 COMMUNITY & BEYOND Relief Sale Announcements: Relief sale set up time is 4 pm on Friday, July 27 in Pioneer Hall. Live & Silent Auction items and booth (bake sale, craft, etc.) items should be delivered on Friday between 6:00-8:00 pm to Pioneer Hall. Bring your coins for the MY COINS COUNT water project on Saturday, July 28 New this year: the relief sale board is requesting everyone attending pick up a buyer number to make purchases at all booths and the auctions. This change from previous practices of accepting cash and checks everywhere is an attempt to minimize the number of volunteers needed. This change comes with many advantages but also risks and growing pains we ask for your patience and prayers of support as we make changes.
