4 5 th Annual Tupelo District Board of Laity Lay Conference February 11, 2017 St. Mark UMC 175 Elvis Presley Dr., Tupelo Featuring Special Speaker: Bishop James Swanson, Bishop of the Mississippi Conference of the UMC Registration: 8 a.m. (A light breakfast will be provided.) Program : 9 a.m. Lunch: 12 p.m. All Tupelo District laity are invited to spend a day with our Bishop! The topic of discussion will be Methodism 101 and What are our responsibilities as Christians/Methodist? There will be a time allotted for an informal, open forum question and answer session with the Bishop when questions may be asked from the floor.
