Sunnyside welcomes back to our pulpit Dr. Jean Ganzel. Dr. Ganzel is a native of Nebraska. She graduated with a Doctor of Ministry degree from Union Theological Seminary in Richmond, Virginia. She has served a number of churches as intentional interim pastor including Sunnyside from She currently serves Candor Presbyterian Church. 4 SACRAMENT OF BAPTISM Charlotte McDonald Riggio Opening Words Minister Presentation to be baptized...elder Elder: On behalf of the session, I present Charlotte McDonald Riggio, daughter of Michael Riggio and Raven McDonald, to receive the sacrament of Baptism. Do you desire that Charlotte be baptized? Elder: Relying on God s grace, do you promise to live the Christian faith, and to teach that faith to your child? Elder addresses congregation: Do we, as members of the church of Jesus Christ, promise to guide and nurture Charlotte by word and deed, with love and prayer, encouraging her to know and follow Christ and to be a faithful member of His church? Congregation: We do. Minister: Trusting in the gracious mercy of God, do you turn from the ways of sin and renounce evil and its power in the world?
