2 Welcome Shalom Neshamah Friends, Welcome back to your Jewish spiritual home. I am so excited to see you and begin our 7th season together! We have an engaging year planned and I hope you will return often for your favorites and sample a few new events too. I m thankful to you for helping us grow, not only in number but also in depth. This year many of our families will take on leadership roles such as captaining mitzvah projects and planning important events like our Holocaust Education Day. Your leadership and input are essential to building a true Jewish home for our families. Our school will be nearly 200 students and many of this year s will be the second or third member of the family to celebrate with Neshamah. This continuity and shared life experience is another key ingredient of a meaningful Jewish community. Most importantly, Neshamah continues to be a place where Judaism is fun and inspiring. I love hearing from parents - as I do often - that their kids don t complain and actually look forward to coming to class. I also love to witness the poise and accomplishment of our students who week after week shine on the bima, and make their parents and our whole community so proud. And I love to see the power of Shabbat as we connect and uplift with music, prayer and spirit. Thank you for being part of the Neshamah adventure! Please know that your presence and support is so valuable and that I treasure the honor of being your rabbi. B shalom, Rabbi Amy Rader Elul 5776 / August 2016 Our Mission The Neshamah Institute is a soulful, independent, new Jewish community without walls in South Palm Beach County.
