October 4, 2015 Dear Neighbors: The goal of this project has been to provide appropriate concern and respect for our neighbors who have suffered a loss and are in need of the spiritual support and comfort of prayer. Since the inception of this initiative there have been many new residents who have joined the community who may not be aware of this project and hence the need for this update. As the Jewish community within Stonebridge has grown so has the need for this project. We are planning to purchase additional and prayer books (18 of each type) at a cost of $18.00 per book. If you are interested in donating a book to the project, please place a check in an envelope for $18.00 made out to Joel Littman along with a note specifying your preference and how your name(s) should read in the dedicationin Joel s mailbox at 127 Timber Hill Dr. Attached, please find information on the locations of prayer books (Healing Shattered Hearts) for and (Mishkan T filah) f shiva minyans; and the names and contact information for minyan prayer leaders and participants who have graciously volunteered to be part of this communal effort. Please, if you or your neighbor, has a need for a minyan, please contact directly either the Littmans or the Benders and they in turn will notify a minyan leader and provide the appropriate 1

2 prayer books (traditional or reform) as requested, in the house of mourning. The minyan participants will be notified via the Stonebridge Voice announcement or by the minyan leader. After shiva, the prayer books are to be returned to their designated sites. Within this generous and warm community the act of kindness of supporting a shiva minyan should never be in doubt and hopefully rarely needed. Thank you to everyone who has and will continue to support this effort. Volunteers are always invited.
