2 Exodus 35:2a Six days shall work be done, but on the seventh day there shall be a holy day for you, a Sabbath of solemn rest to the LORD: (KJV) Romans 10:4 For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to every one that believeth. (TS1998) Romans 10:4 For Messiah is the goal of the Torah unto righteousness to everyone who believes. Leviticus 23:34-36 Speak to the children of Israel, and say, On the fifteenth day of this seventh month is the feast of booths for seven days to the LORD. On the first day shall be a holy convocation: you shall do no regular work. Seven days you shall offer an offering made by fire to the LORD. On the eighth day shall be a holy convocation to you; and you shall offer an offering made by fire to the LORD. It is a solemn assembly; you shall do no regular work. Exodus 35:4,5 Moses said to all the congregation of the people of Israel, This is the thing that the Lord has commanded. Take from among you a contribution to the Lord. Whoever is of a generous heart, let him bring the Lord's contribution: gold, silver, and bronze; Exodus 35:20-22 And all the congregation of the children of Israel departed from the presence of Moses. And they came, every one whose heart stirred him up, and every one whom his spirit made willing, and they brought the LORD's offering to the work of the tabernacle of the congregation, and for all his service, and for the holy garments. And they came, both men and women, as many as were willing hearted, and brought bracelets, and earrings, and rings, and tablets, all jewels of gold: and every man that offered, offered an offering of gold to the LORD. Exodus 35:25 And all the women that were wise hearted did spin with their hands, Exodus 35:29 All the men and women, the people of Israel, whose heart moved them to bring anything for the work that the Lord had commanded by Moses to be done brought it as a freewill offering to the Lord. Exodus 35:30,31 And Moses said to the children of Israel, See, the LORD has called by name Bezaleel the son of Uri, the son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah; And he has filled him with the spirit of God, in wisdom, in understanding, and in knowledge, and in all manner of workmanship; Exodus 35:34,35a And he has put in his heart that he may teach, both he, and Aholiab, the son of Ahisamach, of the tribe of Dan. Them has he filled with wisdom of heart, to work all manner of work, Exodus 36:1,2 Then worked Bezaleel and Aholiab, and every wise hearted man, in whom the LORD put wisdom and 2

3 understanding to know how to work all manner of work for the service of the sanctuary, according to all that the LORD had commanded. And Moses called Bezaleel and Aholiab, and every wise hearted man, in whose heart the LORD had put wisdom, even every one whose heart stirred him up to come to the work to do it: Genesis 1:27 God created man in his own image. 6 St. Jerome (AD ) describes the Jews as "... serpents, wearing the image of Judas, their psalms and prayers are the braying of donkeys." John Chrysostom (Golden Tongued), the great orator, wrote a series of eight sermons against the Jews. To quote him: "the synagogue is not only a brothel and a theater; it is also a den of robbers and a lodging for wild beasts. No Jew adores God... Jews are inveterate murderers, possessed by the devil, their debauchery and drunkenness gives them the manners of the pig. Augustine confronted this problem in his "Sermon Against the Jews." He maintained that even though the Jews deserved the most severe punishment for having killed our Jesus but that they have been kept alive by Divine Providence to serve, together with their Scriptures, as witnesses to the truth of Christianity.
