On February 10 th 2018, the Raas Mania Board will be hosting the sixth annual intercollegiate Raas competition, Raas Mania, in Champaign, Illinois. Raas is an upbeat folk dance that originated from Gujarat, India. Our mission is to bring the liveliness of this culture to the surrounding communities. Our goal is to spread cultural diversity through dance competitions like this one, but that cannot be achieved without the help of our sponsors! 3 Raas Mania is an intercollegiate raas competition that will showcase the talents of over 144 dancers across the nation. This year the competition will be on February 10 th, 2018 at Foellinger Auditorium at the University of Illinois at Urbana- Champaign.
