Registration is done at the Rectory. Instruction class is required of Parents & Godparents which will be on the Thursday two weeks before Baptism at 7pm. SACRAMENT OF RECONCILIATION: Confessions are held on Saturdays from 4:15pm to 4:45pm or at other reasonable times by making an appointment at the Rectory. SACRAMENT OF MARRIAGE: Arrangements must be made at least 6 months prior to the wedding date. SACRAMENT OF ANOINTING OF THE SICK: Contact the Rectory to make arrangements for the Sacrament of Anointing. Please contact the Pastoral Ministry Office to arrange home visitation and Communion. CHAPEL OF ADORATION: Open from 6am to 9pm daily. 3 Jesus said, My sheep hear my voice; I know them, and they follow me. I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish." During this season of Easter we proclaim the great ALLELUIA! Jesus has risen from the dead, and death has no more power over us. The Lamb of God sits on the throne, he is the Alpha and the Omega, the first and the last, the beginning and the end. When we are faced with the death of someone we love, our faith reminds us that their story is not over, death does not have the final answer. This week we grieve the loss of Loretta Rinaldi. Loretta was a vibrant and active part of our Lady of Grace. She was part of our MONDAY MORNING GIRLS CREW and came every Tuesday morning to count our weekly collection. She will be surely missed and be forever in our hearts. Our Lord tells us that he will "give them eternal life." Surely this is our prayer for Loretta. We will miss her and will be praying for her family and her dear husband, Richard. Eternal rest grant unto her O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon her, may she rest in peace. Amen. Reverence in Church Please show respect and reverence for Jesus present in the Blessed Sacrament and for our fellow parishioners who want to pray. Memorial Gifts We would like to remind everyone that weekly memorial gifts are available. Your remembrances are for the full week beginning on Sunday. You can give these gifts a deceased or in honor of a living person. Intentions can also be for birthdays, anniversaries, graduations, retirements, new births, etc. The gifts are Altar Candles, Chapel Candles, Wine & Host, Sanctuary Lamp, and the American Flag. (The flag is particularly appropriate for NYPD, FDNY, EMS, Military and Veterans.) Intentions are always published in our bulletin and beautiful acknowledgement cards are available. AARP Driver Safety Program Available to All Licensed Drivers Assemblyman Colton has arranged with AARP to give a Driver Safety Program at the United Progressive Democratic Club, 29 Bay 25th Street between 86th Street and Benson Avenue. This course will run from 8:30am to 4:30pm on Sunday, May 15th. You can reduce as many as four points on your driving record and refresh your driving knowledge. The reduced rate for constituents is $25 (just $20 for current AARP members with a current AARP membership card) which must be paid in advance with a check payable to AARP, when you sign up at his Community Office at 155 Kings Highway. Healing Ministry St. Terese Prayer Group Come experience the Power of the Holy Spirit at 7pm on Tuesday, April 26th in conjunction with the St. Terese Prayer Group, with Adoration and Benediction followed by a Healing Mass including a blessing with the Holy Relic of Saint Terese. Reduced Fair Metro Cards For Seniors and Persons with Disabilities Reduced Fair Metro Cards will be available for those 65 years and older and persons with disabilities at the Community Office of Assemblyman William Colton at 155 Kings Highway on Friday, April 29th and Friday, May 27th from 10am to 12 noon. No appointment necessary. Valid photo ID required and proof of age (e.g. Medicare Card).
