2 coming months. Rev. deboer is currently serving as Interim Pastor at York CRC, which term ends later this year. The existing Council Nomination process, where all members of Clinton CRC in good standing are eligible to serve, was amended with the following changes: a.) Siblings, Parent/Child and Married Couples have the opportunity to decline if they do not wish to serve together. b.) Council will no longer remove anyone from the nomination list (e.g. nominees already serving elsewhere, too busy with other Ministry programs, etc..), except for those members who have not been allowed a break in service of two years, so that all have the opportunity to prayerfully consider the nomination. c.) Where a member has been nominated for more than one position (Administrative Elder, Pastoral Elder, Deacon), Council will recommend where they believe the member might best serve. However, each nominee for multiple positions will now have the opportunity to advise Council of their preference. d.) Any members who decline their nomination must do so by way of letter. Administrative Council continues to work towards improving the Affirmation Vote process which follows the nomination process. Membership transfers include Andrew Kaastra to Goderich CRC, Matthew Bylsma from Good News CRC in London and Albert Bruinsma from Dresden CRC. The Pastoral Elders approve and will report future membership transfers. The wedding application of Matthew Bylsma and Marsha Rozendal was approved. The Pastoral Elders will approve marriage applications. The request of Michelle Kaptein to undertake Profession of Faith was approved. Under the new Policy, a sabbatical was then approved for Pastor Ron for June and July The Hiring Team presented the Administrative Council and Full Council with their recommendation to move forward with the process of calling Rev.
