Amen P Almighty God, to whom all hearts are open, all desires known, and from whom no secrets are hid: leanse the thoughts of our hearts by the inspiration of your Holy Spirit, that we may perfectly love you and worthily magnify your holy name, through Jesus hrist our Lord. Amen P If we say we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. But if we confess our sins, God who is faithful and just will forgive our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness. Kneel/Stand Silence for reflection and self-examination. P Most merciful God, we confess that we are in bondage to sin and cannot free ourselves. We have sinned against you in thought, word, and deed, by what we have done and by what we have left undone. A Let us pray. O God, you have promised through your Son to be with your church forever. We give you thanks for those who founded our child development center and for the signs of your presence in it. Increase in us the spirit of faith and love, and make us worthy of our heritage. Knit us together in the communion of saints and make our fellowship an example to all believers and nations. We pray through hrist our Lord. 6 SERVIE OF REDEDIATION P People of Trinity Lutheran hurch 30 years ago you responded to the needs of the community by opening Trinity Lutheran hild Development enter. On the occasion of the center s 30 th anniversary I ask you to re-commit yourselves to this ministry. A A reading from Luke: Jesus said, Let the children come to me and do not stop them; for it is to such as these that the kingdom of God belongs. Luke 18:16 P People of Trinity, do you commit yourselves once again to the call of this community, Arcadia, to provide quality childcare for the families of this community? Will you hold Trinity Lutheran hild Development enter in your prayers? Will you support this ministry with your time, talents, and treasure that all who come through its doors may know hrist s love? We will and we ask God to help and guide us. P Staff of Trinity Lutheran hild Development enter; you are ministers of the gospel and ministers of Trinity Lutheran hurch to the children and families with whom you interact. I ask you therefore to re-commit yourselves to your vocation believing that it is a holy calling from God. A A reading from Ephesians: The gifts he gave were that some would be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, some pastors and teachers, to equip the saints for the work of ministry, for building up the body of hrist, until all of us come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to maturity, to the measure of the full stature of hrist. Ephesians 4:11-13 P Staff of Trinity Lutheran hild Development enter, will you use the gifts you have been given to tend to the children under your care; will you show them the love of hrist in word and deed? Will you set them a positive example that they may see hrist in you? Staff We will and we ask God to help and guide us. P Parents, Guardians, and family members of the children who attend Trinity Lutheran hild Development enter, you have brought your children to a center rooted in the hristian faith and dedicated to teaching that faith to others. I ask you therefore to commit yourselves to the task of sharing your faith with your children that what they learn here may be re-enforced in the home.

7 A A reading from Deuteronomy: 6 Keep these words that I am commanding you today in your heart. 7 Recite them to your children and talk about them when you are at home and when you are away, when you lie down and when you rise. Deuteronomy 6:6-7 P Parents and guardians, will you be a model of faith to the children God has entrusted to you? Will you read to them the stories of the faith and pray with them that they may grow in faith through your example? Parents We will and we ask God to help and guide us. P May Almighty God who has given you the will to do these things graciously grant you the strength to perform them. P Let us pray, Almighty God we give you thanks that for three decades you have provided for and sustained Trinity Lutheran hild Development enter. We pray that you would continue to sustain and strengthen it that it may be a beacon of your love and grace to this community and all who come in contact with it. We pray that the families who use this center may be blessed through it. We pray that the bonds between the congregation and childcare center would be strengthened and grow that we might bless each other for the sake of Jesus hrist our Savior and Lord. Amen REED Stand A Let us stand and confess our faith in the words of the Apostles reed. I believe in God, the Father almighty, creator of heaven and earth. I believe in Jesus hrist, his only Son, our Lord. He was conceived by the power of the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary. He suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died, and was buried. He descended into hell. On the third day he rose again. He ascended into heaven, and is seated at the right hand of the Father. He will come again to judge the living and the dead. I believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy catholic hurch, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and the life everlasting. Amen

A God near to us, increase your people s passion to share how hrist transforms lives. Raise up prophets in your church, Lord, to interpret the word and the world today. Hear us, O God. Make your church joyful to reflect the diversity of your people and the unity of your love. Hear us, O God. Your mercy is great. Your Spirit speaks in creation. We thank you for watered gardens, for abundant yield, for clean water, for sunlight, for communities where people and nature live in peace together. Hear us, O God. Your mercy is great. Remove the yoke of destructive partisanship, the pointing of the finger at our enemies, and bless nations in need. Empower all to speak the truth, encouraging honorable leadership. Hear us, O God. Your mercy is great. Bring strength, health, and wholeness in the parched places of our lives. Bless those in need this day. We pray for the Staff and hildren of our Day are, protect those in harm s way, and remember those others whom we name before you in our hearts or aloud at this time (especially), and surround them with care and hope. Hear us, O God. Your mercy is great. We pray for those who must be absent from this assembly while they work. Give them and all people Sabbath rest. Refresh our hearts in hrist. Hear us, O God. Your mercy is great. Look with joy upon your children who are celebrating special anniversaries this week (especially) and all who rejoice this week, that their joy may be endless. Hear us, O God. Your mercy is great. Here other intercessions may be offered.

It is right to give our thanks and praise. PREFAE P It is indeed right and salutary that we should at all times and in all places offer thanks and praise to you, O Lord, holy Father, through hrist our Lord; who on this day overcame death and the grave, and by his glorious resurrection opened to us the way of everlasting life. And so, with the hurch on earth and the hosts of heaven, we praise your name and join their unending hymn: SANTUS

14 THANKSGIVING P Holy, mighty, and merciful Lord, heaven and earth are full of your glory. In great love you sent to us Jesus, your Son, who reached out to heal the sick and suffering, who preached good news to the poor, and who, on the cross, opened his arms to all. In the night in which he was betrayed, our Lord Jesus took bread, and gave thanks; broke it, and gave it to his disciples, saying: Take and eat; this is my body, given for you. Do this for the remembrance of me. Again, after supper, he took the cup, gave thanks, and gave it for all to drink, saying: This cup is the new covenant in my blood, shed for you and for all people for the forgiveness of sin. Do this for the remembrance of me. Remembering, therefore, his death, resurrection, and ascension, we await his coming in glory. Pour out your Holy Spirit, that by this Holy ommunion we may know the unity we share with all your people in the body of your Son, Jesus hrist our Lord. Through him, with him, in him, in the unity of the Holy Spirit, all glory and honor is yours, Almighty Father, now and forever. Amen

Give us this day our daily bread; and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. The backpacks will be purchased by WELA. All monetary donations will be welcomed.
