3 Free Trade Galatians 1:11-2:14 (p. 972) False teachers were distorting the gospel message and undermining the gospel messenger. They said since Paul wasn t one of Jesus original disciples, he wasn t a genuine apostle. Paul defends himself as one of God's agents for the gospel by describing how he received his calling directly from Jesus Christ. The Gospel s Agent: Called by God (1:11-24) Before Christ (11-14) With Christ (15-24) The Gospel s Agent: Confirmed by Man (2:1-14) Entrusted with the Gospel (1-10) Preservation of the Gospel (11-14)
