Bryan and sign up (by Aug. 19) for the four-person best shot Riverside Golf Classic, on August 9:30 am at the Ames Golf & Country Club. $100 per player all donations will be used to help build Riverside s new swimming pool and restore The Chapel. Annual Tuscan Dinner to benefit the Good Neighbor Healthy Food Voucher program will be held Aug. 21 at the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship (1015 Hyland). Social time is at 6:00 p.m. and dinner (entrees prepared by Terry Lowman, former co-owner, Lucullan s)is served at 6:30 p.m. Dinner includes bread, salad, entrees, and dessert. The Healthy Food Voucher Program provides any individual or family residing in Story County with vouchers for nutritious food items at local grocery stores. Last year, Good Neighbor provided 7,734 of the $5.00 vouchers to 1,289 households.
