According to 2010 New Year Promise, may the Lord make you and your children ruler over many things! Amen. We have been bestowed with many good things in the year At the same time, as Job says, shall we not accept adversity as we received good things and according to this verse we had to meet adversity. ä Yet we are not consumed due to Lord s grace. For this, let us praise the Lord of Lords. Through the generous financial help received from the children of God it was possible to build 18 Churches through TVGM and to complete the construction of one-third of Children Home in The 100-Village Ministry was being conducted every month without interruption. Especially, in the month of December the Lord used Pastor Kaivalyam David and team to distribute freely John s Gospel book to 30,000 houses in Pudukottai town. Moreover, the Lord had been gracious to help fulfill ministry in Sri Lanka, Orissa and U.K. For all these, your prayers and help had been the reason. May the Lord increase you and your children! 3 2010 New year Promise Message Dear readers in Christ of 100-Village Ministry magazine, We offer our New Year greetings on behalf of TVGM. The promise that God gives you who have seen the end of year 2009 and entering 2010 : I will make you ruler over many things. Today, you are in a responsible position. But, more responsibility and higher position await you. Perhaps, some of you may not have any responsibility at all. You may be perturbed saying you are doing only a slavish job. But to God who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, promises I will make you ruler over many things. Hallelujah! Because, Matthew 20:25 says: the rulers of the gentiles lord it over them and those who are great exercise authority over them. I WILL MAKE YOU RULER OVER MANY THINGS. Matthew 25 :21. Therefore, my dear God s servant, believer, you need a vision in 2010, because the rulers of the gentiles lord it over them Those who are great exercise authority over them. Therefore, the lordship of the rule must change. Further, the exercise of authority by those who are great must also change. 1. The lordship of rule 2. The harsh exercise of authority In Matthew 28:18 Jesus says: All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Firstly, we have to know one truth. That is, all authority is being exercised by our Lord JesusChrist only. Amen. In this world, no one has been given all authority. God the Father has given all authority only to His begotten son Jesus Christ. Clap your hands and say, Hallelujah! Amen. Because of this, we call Jesus Christ Almighty. 4 Romans 13:1 For there is no authority except from God, and the authorities that exist are appointed by God. Every Christian must know one truth No authority except from God This God has shared His authority with men in two ways: 1. Politicians 2. Authorities Both these are inter-related. Sometimes politicians over-rule the authorities At some other times authorities over-rule politicians In the middle of these two, stand Judges At this stage, I am writing another matter. If three authorities of a district come together with one mind, they can implement any project without any hurdle. District Judge, District Collector, District Police Authority. Holy Bible also says that the Triune God, the Father, the Son and the Holy Ghost all three are one. Yet the three jointly gave all authority in the Hands of Jesus Christ. Likewise, all matters have been given in the hands of authorities. But, today the rulers of the gentiles lord it over them. Firstly, we have to identify. Only if we know the strength of the enemy, we can overcome them. Prov. 11:10 When it goes well with the righteous, the city rejoices; And when the wicked perish, there is shouting. Authorities must come into the hands of saved people. If it be so, Firstly our children must grow in the Lord. Secondly, they must become government authorities. Those who call themselves Christian, but keeping authority without Christ, must get their mind changed. Authorities must come into the hands of true Christians. To accomplish this vision your children only have to rise up hereafter. When the child is in the womb of the mother, start praying that your child must become a Christian official (authority) or become rulers of the country. Let this be your vision. 5 When we say authority always remember to keep spiritual authority also in mind. Luke 10:19 : Jesus says: Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you. Authority is given to everyone in this earthly life. For example, 1Cor.7:4 The wife does not have authority over her own body, but the husband does. And, likewise the husband does not have authority over his own body, but the wife does. Whatever job or business you do or engaged in agriculture or work as a mere labour, there is authority in these also. Yet, God desires that your children must get high authority to lead the nation towards good governance and evangelization of the country. I will make you ruler over many things. Basic requirement for this is education only. One of the worries of every parent is about their children s education and job. If we ask parents what type of higher education they would like to give to their children, generally the answer is Engineer or Doctor. They will say that this kind of education only offers more employment opportunities and bring in high salaries. Saved Christian officials have to increase and occupy the seats of authority. Will you take a decision today? Like saying, my children must become Collectors or Judges or Police authorities For revival to come in this country, you and your children should become Christian officers and rulers of the country. God promises for 2010 : I will make you ruler over many things. Confess your faith as follows. Confess again and again. (Lord) will make me ruler over many things (Lord) will make my children ruler over many things. (Lord) will make my family ruler over many things. 7 Â VIRUDHUNAGAR- RAJAPALAYAM UNION VILLAGE MINISTRY REPORT ä Date : to ä HUNDRED VILLAGE MINISTRY 6 JANUARY 2010 Â By God s grace, the 100-Village Ministry in Virudhunagar-Rajapalayam Union from to was conducted with much blessing. The responsibility of providing the venue for first and last day meetings, food, sweets and parcel expenses was taken up by Rajapalayam Shalom Assembly Church Pastor Abraham and extended his help. For 5 days, 52 village workers from 11 districts of Tamil Nadu stayed in villages and participated in the ministry. On the first day prayer, the names of the villages in Rajapalayam Union were read and prayer of praise was raised. In this prayer, Pastor Daniel from Singapore, his wife and relatives participated, prayed with burden, shared the Lord s message and encouraged the workers. TVGM Founder, Bro. P.T. Christopher led the group in prayer. Auditor John Rajasekaran from Trichy prayed for the villages where the ministry would be conducted and for the village workers. Then the workers were divided into 12 teams and each team prayed for their respective villages. After mid-day meal the workers dispersed into the villages, went house to house, distributed John s Gospel books, tracts and Cross Flags freely and ministered proclaiming that Jesus is Lord. On completion of 5 days ministry, the workers testified as to how the Lord led them in the villages and glorified God. In this prayer gathering Pastor Abraham delivered God s message. In total, 12,070 John s gospel books, 20,000 Tracts of Jesus the saviour, 10,000 Cross Flags were distributed. 179 non-christian friends gave their addresses and had requested to send them Bible lessons by post.

8 TESTIMONIES OF VILLAGE WORKERS Team 1: Sis. Kasthuri, Mary Meena, Mariyal, Annal We went house to house in villages of MPK Pudupatti, Mamsapuram, Idayankulam, Kothai Nachiarpuram, distributed John Gospel book and preached the Gospel. All received lovingly. Met the sick and prayed for them. Totally, 1155 John Gospel books and 725 Cross Flags were given. Team 2: Sis. Rani Chandra, Deborah, Chellakani,Glory. In the 10 villages where we went, many requested to pray for them. We prayed for their salvation. In the house where we stayed, one sister named Esther was pregnant. Since one month, she was unable to sleep and could not eat and was suffering very badly. Her mother and father requested us to pray. We prayed with burden. The Lord heard our prayer and graciously made the sister to sleep well and eat. Her parents felt happy. Totally, 1000 John Gospel books and 850 Cross Flags were distributed. Team 3: Sis. Dorah Lazar, Anthony Mary, Amirtham, Sheela, Veronicam. While we were distributing John s Gospel books house to house and telling the truth, many humbly received the book and heard the Truth. When we told the gospel to a young woman, she replied that she had worshipped all gods and only Jesus remains to be worshipped. We prayed for the sick. In total, we gave 1500 John Gospel books and 930 Cross Flags. Team 4: Sis. Esther, Selin, Pitchai Ammal, Devapackiam In 11 villages of Thompakulam Panchayat we gave John Gospel book to every house and proclaimed the gospel. All received lovingly and listened to the Truth. In total, we gave 775 John Gospel books and 830 Cross Flags. Team 5: Pastor Alwyn, Bro. Mark Mariappan, Samraj, Maharajan In the villages of Mudukudi, Vadakarai, Thenkarai, Ramalingapuram we distributed the Gospel books to every house and preached that Jesus is Lord. We prayed for people who were having problems. Totally, 750 John Gospel books and 850 Cross Flags were distributed. Team 6: Sis. Maniammal, Lydia, Devakirubai, Salomi Sammanasu We visited the villages in Settur Panchayat and distributed Gospel books, house to house, and preached the truth. In the house where we stayed, we conducted prayer meeting every day at night and many came with eagerness and participated and then departed,after having prayed for. For the sick, we applied oil and prayed. In total, we gave 740 John Gospel books and 800 Cross Flags. HUNDRED VILLAGE MINISTRY 7 JANUARY 2010

9 Team 7: Bro. Prem Anand, Jebamalainathan,Selvaraj, Peter Ramalingam, Sivakumar In Chettiarpatti, Kommandapuram villages one man told us this place is a stronghold of RSS; in this area if books like this are distributed, problems would arise; Police would be called and you would be taken away; go to Muslim Street and do your religious propaganda there. We straightway asked him only to guide us where the Muslim Street is and then we walked away. We gave 900 John Gospel books and 850 Cross Flags. Team 8: Bro. Ebenezer, Joshua, Stephen Raj, Isthakki In the 11 villages where we went, we gave John Gospel books to every house and preached the Gospel. All received these with a smiling face. We prayed for those who had asked for prayer. Totally, we distributed 1000 John Gospel books and 900 Cross Flags. Team 9: Bro Babu Solomon, Susai Manickam, Noah, Anthony, Daveedu When the Gospel books were being distributed in Malaiyapuram, one man after receiving it, threw away the book saying Don t you know that I am a Hindu. We took that book and left for another area. Many received with interest. Some objected. In Veeradharmapuram dogs were barking at us incessantly and prevented us from doing the ministry. But the Lord protected us. Totally, 1300 John Gospel books and 850 Cross Flags were given. Team 10: Sis. Mariammal, Ruth, Abiel, Kiruba, Rebecca When we gave John Gospel book in a Muslim street, some young men came and asked if we did not know that it was a Muslim street and why did we go there and drove us away. In Madasaamipuram, when we were going through Rajakkal Kottai, some arrived there and asked where we were going and that the place was Hindus dominated area and threatened to hand us over to the Police and saying this they drove us away. We prayed for them and walked away. We gave 1000 John Gospel books and 800 Cross Flags. Team 11: Sis. Vasantha, Annakili, Manoranjitham, Clements Mary When we were distributing Gospel books in Kammapatti and Mangapuram villages, some refused to accept. A few received. In Kammapatti, people drove us away objecting to distribute.hindu extremist elements spoke disgracefully against us. We proceeded to another village and continued the ministry. In total, we gave 950 John Gospel books and 900 Cross Flags. Team 12: Sis. Shanthi, Grace Padma, Jothimani, Louis Ammal When we were ministering in Mugavur one brother told that it seemed to him that we would convert all of them to Christian religion. When we were preaching the gospel in a R.C. street of Chockanathanputhur one man told that we are all Pentecostal people and so would not allow us to enter their street because they (Pentecostal people) had enticed many people in HUNDRED VILLAGE MINISTRY 8 JANUARY 2010

10 R.C. street to join the Pentecostal church. He further told that there are no people now in their R.C. Church and so their Priest has now instructed them not to allow people like us to go there and also not to accept any tracts. Saying this, they drove us away. In total, 1000 John Gospel books, and 715 Cross Flags were distributed. Glory to God. Johnson, Martandam. When I was in deep distress due to the huge financial loss I suffered, I got the 100-village ministry magazine. In it there was the verse I will do you good. Immediately I wrote to you a letter. God was gracious to help my son to get the passport and emigration without paying any illegal money and enabled him to go to Muscat. 2.Sis. Bella, Martandam. I wrote a letter to pray for my B.Ed. result. The Lord was gracious to help me pass the exam with a First Class. 3. Sis. Jessila, Tuticorin. I wrote to you to pray for the cyst on the back of my uncle to be cured and for the stone found in my brother s kidney be got removed. The Lord gave complete cure to both of them. 4.Bro.Anbazhagan, Vellore. I wrote a letter to you to pray for the dedication of my house. But there was rain. We prayed. To everyone wonder there was no rain till the function was over. 5. Sis. Banupriya, Pudukottai. I wrote to pray for my sister s study. The Lord heard the prayer and gave her victory in the exam. 6. Sis. Ramya, Pudukottai. The Lord heard the prayer and blessed my sister-in-law who gave birth to a male child in safe delivery. 7.Sis. Seethalakshmi, Tirupathur A female child was born to my daughter-in-law in safe delivery without any problem. Praise be to God who had done a miracle. 8. Sis.Haripriya, Trichy. I wrote to pray for my brother. The Lord heard the prayer and gave him a job. 9. Sis. Anis, Kanyakumari I prayed with a vow that if I pass the +2 exam coming with School First status I would write a testimony. God heard the prayer and by His grace I got 1086 Marks coming out School First. Inform your date of birth and date of wedding To those who inform us of their dates of birth and the dates of wedding, we will send them a letter of greetings with a scriptural verse of Promise. 12 Love Sri Lanka Pray for Sri Lanka Vavunya Ministries of Bro.Stephen Christopher Day : 2009 November 1 to 5 Bro.Stephen Christopher, during his Sri Lanka tour, shared Lord s message in Emmaus Evangelical Church on 2009 November 2nd. Further, he met some families of Neerkozhumbu and prayed for them. On 2009, November 4, he visited the people affected by the war in Vavunya. He distributed milk powder and biscuits to 140 people undergoing treatment in Pammamedu Hospital. Also, he met one Mr.Xavier s family in Arunachalam Camp, prayed and presented food items. His wife is mentally affected due to the loss of her daughter. He, along with his wife and elder daughter has been living in this camp since last 8 months. Pray for this family and also for other inmates living in this camp. Pray for those who left their families and leading a lonely life in Sri Lankan Camps, those injured in the war and had lost their limbs and those languishing with hunger. We lovingly request you to co-operate with those voluntary Agencies, who out of love and concern for the unfortunate victims of war, and have volunteered to help them by providing them with basic amenities and thus improve their living standards. 13 PRAISE THE LORD OF LORDS In2009 WHO ALONE HAS DONE GREAT WONDERS THROUGH TVGM MINISTRIES Village Ministry: In 2009, by God s grace 100-Village Ministries had been carried out in 11 Unions of Tamil Nadu without any interruption making various churches as centres. During this ministry 1,23,581 John s gospel books, 2,10,000 Tracts and 1,08,500 Cross Flags had been distributed freely in villages. Further, the Lord graciously helped to do Gospel work in Mudalur and its surrounding area in the month of September and to distribute John s Gospel books to 30,000 houses in Pudukottai town in the month of November. 2.Follow-Up Ministry: 1936 friends of other faiths who were met during 100-village ministries were sent Bible lessons by Post. Out of these, 104 persons showed their eagerness in contacting us to get further lessons and continue their studies. 3. Jesus Lovers Camp : Jesus Lovers Camps were held at the places where 100-village ministries took place as part of continuing ministry. Through this, 48 non-christian friends accepted Jesus Christ as their personal saviour. Jesus name was glorified through non-christian friends. Praise the Lord of Lords! 4. Construction of prayer houses in churchless villages: In the year 2009 prayer houses were constructed in 18 churchless villages of Naithalur Colony, Agraharam, Ponmalaipatti, Sooraikudipatti, Jeyamkondam, Peruvalanallur, Edamalaipattiputhur, Chettiyuranipatti, Kadavur, M. Azhagapuri, Kovilpatti, Panjampatti, Nandavanapatti, Thottiyam, Chromepettai, Devanesan Nagar, Pozhichalur, Vendanpatti, and were dedicated to the glory of God. Praise the Lord of Lords! 5.Children Home:The Lord graciously protected and wonderfully met the needs of 66 children Living in Trichy and Kundal Children Homes. Especially for Trichy Children Home God was gracious to help construct a new building. 6.Letter Ministry :In 2009, the number of persons who had sent letters of prayer request exceeded 2000, both believers and nonbeliever friends. Replies were sent from the Head Office. Many were comforted. Praise God. HUNDRED VILLAGE MINISTRY 12 JANUARY 2010

14 7.Vision Camp:The Lord was gracious to help conduct TVGM Vision Camp on 2009, April 4 in Nagercoil-Philipspuram C.S.I. Church. In this camp, God s name was glorified. Praise the Lord of Lords! 8.Galilee Camp:The Lord graciously helped to conduct Galilee Camp in Kodavilai on 2009, October 2, 3, 4 dates. Through this, many living around that area were blessed. Praise God for this. 9.Magazine Ministry:The Lord was gracious to help publish 2 magazines, 100-Village Ministry and Gospel for Tamil villages in 2009 for the full 12 months without any interruption. Our needs were wonderfully met. Through the magazine ministry, God s name was glorified. Praise the Lord of Lords for this. 10.Promotional Ministry:In the year 2009, the Lord Himself has opened opportunities for our sisters in Nagercoil Promotional Office to do promotional work in many new churches. Further, the Lord by His grace helped to minister in 7 villages around Sankaranputhur and in villages like Mangulam, Padmanayanputhur, Kurandi by distributing Luke s Gospel book. Praise the Lord of Lords for this. TVGM Social Service: Help to the affected people in Orissa: In 2009 February, the Lord graciously helped us to visit some villages in Orissa where Christians were persecuted and He had enabled us to distribute rice to 82 families and 51 Pastors in 2 villages. Help to the people affected by war: God had graciously helped to visit those affected by war in 2009 September and November, and who had been admitted in Sri Lanka-Vavunya Hospital. We were able to help them with small gifts. Help to leprosy patients, widows and visually impaired: In 2009, the Lord graciously helped to distribute food items and other small gifts from time to time to Leprosy patients in Trichy-Panjapur, poor widows in Suravalipatti and to the visually impaired in Gandhinagar area. For this, praise the Lord of Lords. Thus, the Lord helped to fulfill His ministries during the whole 2009 year by His grace. Glory to God! 15 PANJAPUR LEPROSY PATIENTS COLONY : COMMUNITY TENT / WORSHIP CENTRE God willing, we are desirous to erect a Community Tent for the poor and the needy through TVGM with a view to provide medical facilities and distribution of food items and to conduct Sunday worship regularly in the year 2010 in Trichy-Panjapur Leprosy patients colony. To erect this Tent, we expect that approximately Rs.2 lakhs will be required. However, we would like to construct within the amount God provides as honorarium. Pray. Many poor people living in Leprosy Patients colony are asking for small aid to help them start small scale industries. We are considering the matter and are praying for it. Further, pastors are required from Trichy to conduct prayer in Panjapur every week. For the Lord s service, willing and dedicated child of God is needed. 16 PLEASE PRAY AT LEAST A MINUTE DAILY. The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much. James 5:16 DAILY PRAYER POINTS Monday: Pray that God may graciously raise up Christian officials and rulers in our country so that the Gospel may be preached without any hurdle. To realize this vision pray earnestly that the TASOL Project (Christian Leadership Centre ) which the Lord has given to TVGM, financial doors be opened to buy 15 acres of land. Wednesday: Pray that prayer Sunday: houses may be constructed for many eligible village workers through TVGM so that their churches may grow and full time workers may come forth from each church. Thursday: Pray that those who have vision may join together and committee members for TVGM TASOL Project may be chosen and rules and regulations may be formulated. Pray that the required suitable and talented children of God may come forth on their own for service in the office and for promotional work. Friday: We are keen on building 5 churches in Orissa. Pray that God may give us a place of our own to establish TVGM Centre in Orissa and those who have the vision may be available for responsible positions. Pray for OVGM Ministries. Saturday: Pray for Sri Lanka Ministries, SLVGM Secretary, Pastor John Isaiah, Sis. Daphne and also for their physical health and for their ministries. Also pray for the Bible College study of daughter Susanna and son Joshua.
