1 Jesus Delivers you from Tribulations. Special Message Bro. G.P.S.Robinson As we all know, August 15th is our Independence Day and of course we are happy to live in a free land. Yet, though several years have passed, we see many people still bound by so many afflictions and bondages. It is painful to see the wealth and prosperity of our nation failing to reach the house of each and every Indian. For example, there are still millions of people in India who don t get even a single glass of clean water, a day. Similar are the other problems. Prayers and faith are the only solution to these problems. let Him deliver me out of all tribulation. (I Samuel 26:24). Dearly beloved! God has graciously helped me to share with you yet another of His message, this month. Our God who delivered David from all tribulations as mentioned in the above verse, is able to deliver each and every one who is caught up in various tribulations. Bondages The pangs of death surrounded me, And the floods of ungodliness made me afraid. The sorrows of Sheol surrounded me; The snares of death confronted me (Psalm 18:4,5). We know that these days almost everyone is under some bondage or the other. David

2 refers death as a bondage and Sheol as another bondage. It is the will of God that you and I should be healthy and well. But the enemy, enters into the lives of so many people, attacks them with the spirit of fear and suicide and takes all those who are slaves to him, to death. Beloved! perhaps, you are living with certain negative outlook or thoughts since the past few months or years and may have wrong thoughts that it would be better for you to die than to live. If so, now the Lord wants to set you free. So place your trust and faith only on the Lord Jesus Christ. He alone destroyed the works of the devil on the cross. Without Him, there can never be any deliverance. Tears You number my wanderings; Put my tears into Your bottle; Are they not in Your book? (Psalm 56:8). My dear brother and sister! Our hearts break whenever tribulations attack us; tears well up in our eyes. Women who are in tears because of their drunkard husbands, husbands losing peace because of their disobedient wives, parents shedding tears because of their rebellious children and families that are in distress and tears because of various problems the list goes on. Dear child of God! it is true that you are in tears because of some reason or the other. Perhaps you may not shed tears openly but still aren t you living in tears in the secret? Sickness, poverty or debt may be taking you through the path of tears. If so, don t forget that there is a God Jesus who is able to deliver you. Rather than shedding tears to others, telling them about your problems, it is good to run to the presence of God and shed tears at His feet. The Lord will take into account each and every drop of your tears and do miracles for you. Look at King Hezekiah! He cried unto God as he was afflicted with a dreadful disease and the Lord heeded his cries. He increased the number of his days of life. He said, I have heard your prayer, I have seen your tears; surely I will heal you. On the third day you shall go up to the house of the LORD (II Kings 20:5). Every drop of tear that you shed in the presence of God shall surely bring you miracles. So strengthen yourself in the Lord. for the Lamb who is in the midst of the throne will shepherd them and lead them to living fountains of waters. And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes. (Revelation 7:17)

3 Bitterness The heart knows its own bitterness (Proverbs 14:10). The final weapon that is used against us to trouble us is bitterness. Hebrews 12:15 says that bitterness is like a root. Yes, dearly beloved! roots cannot be seen outwardly by any one as they tend to go down the soil. Roots also have the capacity to suck water and it can penetrate through hard earth. Similar is a bitter life. Many may seem to be happy outwardly but inside them, misery and bitterness torment them. Initially bitterness may not seem to be big but it is only when the bitterness reaches the peak, the suffering would be unbearable. Now when they came to Marah, they could not drink the waters of Marah, for they were bitter. Therefore the name of it was called Marah (Exodus 15:23) When Moses called unto the Lord, at this stage, He showed him a tree. Exodus 15:25 says, when he cast it into the waters, the waters were made sweet. Dear child of God! tree denotes the cross. Please turn to the cross where all the bitterness that cause you sorrow, can be made into sweet. Our King Jesus who was victorious on the cross shall deliver you from all tribulations and make you happy. World News Heart Attack in Children Australian doctors have issued a warning that children, under 7 years of age, have the risk of developing High Blood Pressure and Heart attack, in their later years if they are exposed to much Television viewing. For this purpose, Researchers of the Sydney University observed nearly 1,500 students of primary level, under the age of 7 and found that the blood nerves of children, who were watching T.V, most of the time, were weak. On the other hand, children who did regular exercises, had strong nerves.

4 God Blessed - Canada, God graciously helped us to conduct meetings in Mississauga and Toronto in Canada from May 27th to June 5th. God worked mightily in the meetings held in the church of Pastor. Mano Tharmalingam. New souls were touched; God strengthened churches through these meetings. Also the Holy Spirit descended mightily during the service conducted in the church of Pr. David Loganathan and Pr. Jayaraj. God s presence mightily filled the church. We thank God for Pr. Mano Tharmalingam who loves our ministry greatly and who was instrumental for our meetings in Canada. 5 America Meetings Pr. Prabhu Isaac God graciously opened ways to conduct meetings in America from June 8th -12th. He enabled me to complete His ministry for two days in the cities of Pennsylvania and Pittsburgh. Pr. Prabhu Isaac who is doing the Lord s glorious ministry here, had arranged for these meetings with great burden. Pray that the Lord should bless this man of God s ministry in a manifold way, as he is working with many visions. Besides, he was the reason for my going to America. God also graciously helped me to hold meetings on June 11th and 12th in the city of Maryland which is nearby Washington DC in the church of Pr. Johnson Raju. The Holy Spirit strengthened His children in these meetings which were arranged with great burden. We thank the Lord for the Pastor and his church. Pr. Johnson Raju

6 Joy in Tribulation Receive the Anointing! Bro. G.P.S.Robinson Dear readers in Christ! By the grace of God and His strength, I am writing about the power of the anointing of the Holy Spirit every month. It is only the grace of God that sustains us every day, in this world which is full of tribulations. I thank the Lord for this. Here, with prayer, I have written about how the Holy Spirit helps us in the tribulations that attack us now and then. Read and glorify the Lord. How to be Happy? And you became followers of us and of the Lord, having re- ceived the word in much affliction, with joy of the Holy Spirit, (I Thessalonians 1:6) My dear child of God! it is the will of God that we should be happy. In the epistle written to the Philippians, Apostle Paul repeatedly says that we should rejoice in the Lord always. At the same time, satan never wants us to be happy. He resorts to many ways to spoil our happiness. But through the Holy Spirit we have received a way to be happy in the Lord. The above verse clearly speaks about this. If you receive the Holy Spirit, you would be filled with His power

7 and when we pray filled with that power, He, who dwells in us, shall give us joy. When we are filled with His joy, tribulations may not appear big to us and rather we receive a new strength through the joy that the unchanging God gives us. What a wonderful experience! Yes, it is God s will that you enjoy this grace. Believing the Word you became followers of us and of the Lord, having received the word in much affliction, (I Thessalonians 1:6) Dear child of God! when all those who are afflicted by tribulations are filled with the anointing, the tribulation would bring in them joy. Not only that, the anointing would give us a strong and unshakable faith and belief on His promise words. Hence, it would be easy for us to accept the Word just as they are. Never forget that our spiritual life should always be bound by God s Words. The words of the unchanging God are spirit and they are life. The words that I speak to you are spirit, and they are life (John 6:63). To enjoy this glorious experience and to be happy in your tribulation, receive the anointing! Dear beloved! 8 Nation s Deliverance Through our Prayers Family Liked by God Sis. Christina Robinson Several years have rolled by after our nations Independence. Yet, the blessings of God are not upon our nation as they ought to be. Our nation is not yet delivered from sin, curses and bondages; poverty and depravity have not changed; tribulations abound in families; murder, crime, robbery have drastically increased. In that case is it not our bounden duty to pray for the deliverance of the people of our nation? For the Blessing of the Nation The Lord says, if My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land (II Chronicles 7:14) Dearly beloved! the blessing of our nation lies in our hands; that is, it lies in our prayers. When we confess our sins, humble ourselves and pray for our country, the Lord will surely lift up our nation far above the other countries of the world. When you thus pray for the nation, your children shall be exalted. For the Protection of the Nation Besides, the safety of our nation also lies in our prayers. We clearly read this in the Bible.
