1 REVIVE US AGAIN HOMEMISSION EVANGELISM AND CHURCH GROWTH WORKSHOP SPEAKERS AND TEACHERS Danny Aragon A graduate of Bear Valley School of Preachng, Danny has been in Kim, Colorado for the last 10 years. Since he has been there, they have grown from 18 to almost 70, in a town of 65, (that s 65 total!) He is an outstanding evangelist, and works with HomeMission every other week. He has worked also in Nebraska and Kansas. Tom Bedichek Tom is a 4 th generation preacher with over 50 years of experience in full-time ministry. He has served with seven churches in four states. Tom and his wife, Jan, have five children, all of whom are faithful to the Lord. Ferman Carpenter Even though he enjoyed the business world, Ferman was also involved in preaching, teaching, and conducting Bible studies wherever he went. So after several years in business, the Weber Road Church of Christ, in Corpus Christi, Texas invited Ferman and his wife, Jean, to come and be their Involvement Minister. Ferman loves evangelism and he takes seriously the Great Commission spoken by Christ in Matthew 28: He came to the Westside church in Round Rock, January 2007, after spending almost 10 years

2 with the Westhill Church of Christ in Corsicana, Texas, where they baptized over 300 people. He has also served as a minister in Pine Bluff, Arkansas and Seagoville, Texas. Ferman has been married to Jean Lynch Carpenter since They are blessed with two beautiful married daughters, two outstanding sons-in-law, and five of the most wonderful grandchildren in the world. Dr. Terry Casey Dr. Terry Casey is from the West Broward Church of Christ in Plantation, Florida. He and his wife, Connie, have known the Orr s since the late 70 s when they were classmates at Preston Road School of Preaching in Dallas, Texas. Our paths have crossed through the years and it s been such a blessing. In his career, Terry has worked with churches in Houston, Uvalde, Temple, and Fort Worth before moving to Florida. Terry has helped HomeMission by sharing his 50 Sermon Seeds found on our website under Resources. Terry is a mighty servant of the Lord and an outstanding Gospel preacher. Bill Colwell Bill serves as Manager for Church Relations for World Bible School in Cedar Park Texas. In this capacity, Bill works with congregations to establish new WBS teaching programs, trains new teachers, helps congregations improve their existing programs, and represents WBS by giving presentations to interested churches and at brotherhood events. Bill completed a 26-year career in the United States Air Force in He then spent six years as a project manager for a Department of Defense contractor in Austin, Texas. He assumed his current position with World Bible School in February of 2012.

3 He and his wife, Ruth, are members of the Westside Church of Christ in Round Rock Texas, where he is an active member of the Missions Committee. They have four children and twelve grandchildren. Janae Fridelle Janae is wife to Andrew Fridelle, minister at the Riverside Church of Christ in Lafayette, LA. She has a passion for ministry as she has been raised as the granddaughter, daughter, sister, and sister in law of Ministers. She was trained in Biblical Studies at the Sunset International Bible Institute in Lubbock, TX. Janae is passionate about teaching women and girls the word of God. She co-directs Ret s Retreat in Texas, a Christian Retreat for young girls, which was founded in She serves on the board for Orr Family Ministries, a nonprofit Christian organization that houses several camps, retreats and various ministries. Janae loves coffee, camping, singing, and her dogs. Dr. William (Bill) Hardy Brother Bill Hardy is an elder and minister at the Church of Christ in Palestine, Texas. He has also had a military career with the Army National Guard, retiring with the rank of Colonel, after serving as a physician s assistant. He also completed tours of duty in Afghanistan and the Persian Gulf. Kathy Hardy Sister Kathryn Hardy is a Christian wife, mother, and grandmother. She is married to Dr. William Hardy, Jr., an elder and a minister of the Church of Christ of Palestine

4 in Texas. Bro. and Sis. Hardy work with Gospel Sharing Ministries, the Sojourners, and HomeMission to help spread the Gospel. They participate on the Aftercare support team of their congregation, providing spiritual support and encouragement to new converts. Bro. and Sis. Hardy have been married for nearly 39 years. They have five children, three son-in-laws, and five grandchildren. Now retired from teaching, Sis. Hardy is thankful to enjoy more time traveling and working with her husband to encourage others in their Christian growth. One of her favorite scriptures is John 8:36, Therefore if the Son makes you free, you shall be free indeed. Praise God for His faithful love for each of us! Jennifer Lewis Jennifer attended Oklahoma Christian, has been married to her husband for 29 years, and has 3 children. Jennifer is multi-talented. She and her husband owned a cake/catering business for 15 years. She now teaches voice and piano and manages the EWES camp for girls. She is originally from Philadelphia and grew up a preacher s kid. Ladies, you are in for a treat! Tim Lewis Tim is a graduate of Oklahoma Christian University. He graduated in 1993 with a degree in English Education and obtained his Master's Degree in Ministry in He served as the Preacher / Youth Minister for the Mt. Vernon Church of Christ in Mt. Vernon, Missouri for 8 years before moving to Oklahoma City to begin his work with the North MacArthur congregation in In 2015, he wrote a book entitled, The Domino Effect: Changing Your Life One Decision at a Time. Tim and his wife, Tawni, have two daughters, Macy and Callie, and one son, Ryder.

5 Wes McAdams Wes has served as the preaching minister at the Church of Christ on McDermott Road in Plano, Texas since Prior to McDermott, he worked with congregations in Midland, Abilene, and Leachville and Hot Springs, Arkansas. He is a graduate of Amridge University. He is the author of The Treasure Chest of Grace and blogs regularly at RadicallyChristian.com. Wes and his wife, Hollee, have been married since 2005 and have two sons, Malachi (10) and Noah (7). Billy McGuiggan Billy McGuiggan was born in Bangor, N. Ireland and moved to America in 1998 to attend the AIM (Adventures in Missions) Program in Lubbock TX. In 2000, Billy started attending Sunset International Bible Institute and graduated in 2003 with a Bachelors in Biblical Studies. Billy began preaching at the Natick Church of Christ in Natick, MA in June 2003 and preached there until May Billy began his ministry at Three Chopt Rd Church of Christ in Richmond, VA in May, Billy is married to Melissa whom he met while attending the AIM program. They have 3 wee ones: Alex (13 yrs old), Evelyn (11 yrs old) and Aidan (7 yrs old).

6 Dr Bruce McLarty Bruce McLarty became the fifth president of Harding University on June 1, Before that, for twenty-five years, he was engaged in full-time preaching ministry for congregations in Mississippi, Tennessee, Arkansas and Meru, Kenya. From , he served as the preaching minister of the College Church of Christ in Searcy, Arkansas. He is the author of Journey of Faith: Walking with Jesus through the Gospel of John and the Commentary on Philemon in the Truth for Today Commentary Series. Bruce and his wife, Ann, are the parents of two grown daughters and are Pa and Mommo to Eli, Evie, Elissa and Maggie. Trey Morgan For the past 16 years, Trey has served as the senior minister at the Childress Church of Christ in Childress, Texas. Trey and his wife, Lea, have been married for 30 years and have 4 boys. They are also actively involved in marriage ministry and conduct weekend workshops, called Stronger Marriage Workshops. They speak to 1000's of people each year on how to build godly, healthy marriages and families. Robert K Oglesby Robert K. Oglesby, Sr., has B.A. & M.A. degrees in Bible from Abilene Christian University, and a Doctor of Laws degree ( LL.D) conferred upon him in 1994 by York College. He was the pulpit minister of the Waterview Church of Christ in the Dallas area for 52 years. He has authored 21 books on how to use this technique in studying the entire New Testament.

7 He is the narrator of an evangelistic video series, entitled THE STORY, shot on location in the Bible lands. He is on the Christian Chronicle Board, and a member of the corporation board of Restoration Quarterly magazine. Robert s wife is the former Willora Armstrong whom he met and married at ACU. She is a housewife and his helper in the work he has done. They have two children. Their son, Robert Jr., is the head of the Youth Ministry Department at ACU, and their daughter is a housewife living in Richardson, Texas. The Oglesbys have five grandchildren. Michael Orr Michael Orr is an evangelist at the Saginaw Church of Christ in Saginaw, TX where he has been serving for twelve years and has been in ministry for the past nineteen years. He is also director of The Leadership Camp, a week-long camp for teens that has seen over twenty former campers get involved in ministry over the past sixteen years. Michael has also given several presentations to churches concerning men s leadership. Michael is married to Loretta Orr, and has four children: Jillian, Joy, Joshua and Jaycee. Jake Perkins More than anything Jake and his wife Allison want to see people come alive to the message of Jesus. He loves his job as a preaching minsiter and loves the city of Canadian just as much. He and Allison have two boys, Anderson and Coleman. Joey Roberts With over 15 years of creating media message, strategic branding and clear communications,, Joey Roberts strives to help people focus on creative excellence. From public relations and advertising to

8 graphic design and website, Joey has spent his professional career helping people and companies communicate their mission and strategies. Joey serves as the director of communications and administration at Herald of Truth where he oversees the public relations, publications, website, video productions, administration, and more. Prior to his current position, Joey served six and a half years as the communications minister at University Church of Christ in Abilene. After graduating with a bachelor s degree in public relations/advertising and a minor in Bible, Joey spent three years as the sports information director at Southwest Baptist University in Bolivar, Mo., before working as the director of athletics communications for eight years at Tarleton State University in Stephenville, TX. He also holds a Master s degree in Digital Media. Joey lives in Abilene with his wife, Leslye Starnes Roberts, and their two children, Keaton and Kaylye. He loves sports, reading, writing, photography, music, and spending time with his family. Levi Sisemore Having served ten years in preaching ministry in Floydada and Snyder, Texas, Levi Sisemore is currently the Minister of Worship and Involvement for the church of Christ in Fredericksburg, Texas. He is a graduate of the Sunset International Bible Institute (BBS, MBS) and has received certification in Public Worship Leadership through the Texas Normal Singing School ( Each summer he teaches scores of song/worship leaders and singers at TNSS in Sight Reading (shape notes), Song Leading, and The History of Hymnody in the Churches of Christ. By invitation he conducts Congregational Singing Workshops and Song Leader Training Clinics at congregations and events all across the country.

9 Levi comes from a long line of singers and song-leaders in the church, met his wife Sara at Singing School, and takes a particular interest in his two boys development as worshipers, singers, and song-leaders. Levi collects hymnals, pitch pipes (and anything else that ties back to church music) and he blogs occasionally at hymnalcollector.com. Boo Scott Boo graduated from Freed- Hardeman University in 2006 and has been the College minister at Westside church of Christ in Norman, OK since January of He is married to Amanda Jenkins Scott and they have 3 kids Evie (8), Everest (6), and Forest (1). Gary Smith Gary Smith is the Pulpit Minister for Fifth Ward Church of Christ in Houston, Texas. ( He received his undergrad degree from (SMU) Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas in Business Administration, and played on the 1983 Cotton Bowl Championship Football Team. He received his Master s Degree in Ministry from Harding University in Searcy, Arkansas. Gary has served the Fifth Ward Church as Youth Minister, Couples Minister, Assistant Minister, and Senior Pulpit Minister (2005-Present). He also serves as Co-Chairman for the Houston Area Campaign for Christ, coordinating the combined fellowship and outreach of over fifty churches of Christ in the Greater Houston area. Gary and his wife, Karen, have been married thirty five years and have three daughters, two son-in-laws, and six grandchildren.

10 Jim Smith Jim Smith has been a Gospel minister since July, He has served as a missionary, elder, campaign director, trainer, and hospital chaplain. He completed studies at the Sunset School of Preaching (SIBI) and audited classes at the School of Practical Evangelism. He has participated as a campaigner in a number of the states. He planted the church in Nashua, NH, and has served as Outreach minister in several churches. Jim also preaches Gospel sermons for campaigns. Chris Swinford Originally from Dumas, Texas, Chris and his wife, Brenda, live in Lubbock, Texas, where he works for the Sunset International Bible Institute. He teaches and serves as both Vice-President of Advancement at SIBI and Dean of 57 international ministry training schools. Chris has also visited 50 countries where he has taught, preached and been on campaigns. Additionally, Chris is organizing a group to foster domestic missions in the United States. Chris has been a great supporter and encourager of HomeMission. Jonathan Zerby Jonathan grew up in Oklahoma and has been married since 1999 to Rachel. They have four children. He has been preaching at the congregation in Sunray, Texas for 10 years and is very involved in the community.
