Here at The Peoples Church, we recognize that people come to worship God in both joy and pain, faith and doubt, with laughter and with tears. STRAWBERRY BRUNCH MAY 10 The Women of Peoples Church invite you to their spring Strawberry Brunch, Faith, Family & Community, at 10 a.m. on May 10 in Snider Social Hall. Carmen Turner, President and Executive Director of the Boys and Girls Club of Lansing will offer the keynote presentation. Proposed changes to the WPC Constitution will be voted on at the brunch and are available for review at the Welcome Center. PEOPLES CHURCH VISITATION TEAM Members of our Visitation Team spend time with church members who are confined to their home or retirement community to help them feel a connection with their faith family. We will be celebrating with a breakfast for seniors and their families before the 10:30 a.m. worship service as well as taking a moment to honor them during the service itself. Be sure to include the number of family members who will be attending breakfast, as well as the student s future plans. If attending college, specify the school and major. PEOPLES FORUM MAY 1 Next Sunday, the Peoples Forum welcomes Pastor Drew and missionaries from our January trip to Villa El Salvador, Peru. The group will share about our wonderful and growing partnership with Los Martincitos. Join us at 9:30 a.m. in the Robertson Room. SPRING YARD DAY CLEAN UP MAY 14 Many hands make light work... Join members of the Building & Grounds Ministry for our annual Spring Yard Day clean up from 9 a.m. to Noon on May 14.
