In this new year, each of us should renew our commitment to the Lord Jesus, to one another as brothers and sisters in Christ, and to seeing lost souls served and saved. PARNTS OF YOUNG CHILDRN: Nursery B is available to parents of infants and small children for feeding, changing diapers, or meeting other specific needs. A television that shows the church service has been added to the room to make it more convenient for you as a parent. The room is also equipped with chairs and a changing table. Parents please remember to cleanup after your children when using the nursery.

Ministry Spotlight on the Salem History Walk: ach month a current or past Ministry will be highlighted to tell their unique story. For January the Deacons Ministry will be the spotlight. Ministries that are interested in being featured in upcoming months should see a Futures Committee Representative. Corporate Prayer: Prayer Changes Things! Salem Pastors and Deacons invite you to join us for Corporate Prayer Service on Wednesday, January 31 st at 6:30 P.M. in the Sanctuary. The effectual fervent prayer of the righteous availeth much! We encourage you to gather with us for Family Night. We are asking you to come out as a family as we will be praying for specific family topics. Pastor s Honor Roll: Parents & Guardians are asked to review the requirements for students to participate in Pastor's Honor Roll and submit report cards reflecting first & second quarter (1st semester) to the collection box found in the Welcome Center. The Honor Roll presentation for the first semester will take place on Sunday, February 18, Please note, all report cards being considered are due January 28, 2018 for review. See any ducation Council member with questions. Path of Light Midday Ministry: A Bible focused ministry extends an invitation to you! Start this New Year, 2018 year off with us as we represent Salem in ministry at the Life Care Center, 6062 Villa de Sante Drive (near 60th & Fort) on the first Monday of each month (except Jan. & Sept.) from 2:00 2:45 p.m. Our Foundational Scripture: God s word is a lamp unto our feet, and a light unto our path. Attention Ministry Leaders: Please note that we are missing several ministry meeting and event dates for the Master church calendar. Please turn your dates in as soon as possible. If we do not have your dates, we will not hold space from the prior year. Contribution Statements: The 2017 Contributions Statements are now available. Please complete the request for Contribution Form located at the visitor booth in the vestibule. All requests will be handled within one week of receiving request. Black College Tour Final Meeting: The Black College Tour in conjunction with Salem Baptist Church and Morning Star Black College Tour will be Thursday, February 8, 2018 at Salem Baptist Church, 3131 Lake Street at 6:00 p.m. in the Watson Conference Room. This is the last day to pay and reserve your seat for the tour. Parents are encouraged to attend to complete the student medical release form. Also, the youth will select their roommates, ask questions, receive the tentative traveling agenda and hear the dos and don ts concerning the tour.
