4 Ohio Mennonite Conference is preparing for their annual time of worshipful work, centered around the theme, From Jerusalem to Antioch: Legacy Churches Anchoring Missional Communities, based on Acts 11: You are invited to join in, March 8 & 9 at Salem Mennonite Church for the 50 th Ohio Annual Conference Assembly. This year is designed as a year of celebration to celebrate 50 years of service as the Ohio Conference, the hiring of a new conference minister, and the introduction of a new executive director of Mennonite Church USA. Those who are not delegates, are welcome to participate in worship sessions, meals and workshops by registering as a nondelegate. Prior to Annual Conference Assembly you are invited to a Missional Conference, March 7 & 8, also centered on the theme From Jerusalem to Antioch: Legacy Churches Anchoring Missional Communities, with speakers, Sally Schreiner Youngquist and Steve North, at Salem Mennonite Church. On Monday, January 21 at 2:30 p.m. the talented Miyashita Family of Orrville will present an afternoon concert featuring piano and flute. And on Wednesday, January 30 at 7:00 p.m., Ken and Judy Gable will share photos and stories of their bike and barge trip from Bruges, Belgium to Amsterdam. The programs will take place at the community s Maple Terrace assisted living facility at 333 East Sassafras St., Orrville.
