Children are welcome in worship and community life. We also offer the following activities for children during worship: A supervised nursery for newborns through age 3, located next to the main entrance; Children's Circle for children ages 3 through 7, which meets in the basement during the second half of the worship service. 5 CMF Welcome Statement Cincinnati Mennonite Fellowship is a Christ-centered, welcoming and inclusive church community committed to peace and justice. CMF Vision Statement As a Mennonite community, seeking to follow Jesus Christ and empowered by the Holy Spirit, we will be embracing, engaging, growing. NOTES Not your ordinary conference annual meeting! (CDC, June 22-24, Bluffton, Ohio) Looking for a fun, educational, and inspirational family day trip? Check out the Family Day activities at the CDC annual meeting on Thursday, June 22 on Bluffton University's campus. The kids can learn about blacksmithing and peacemaking as they watch guns become garden tools. Other events include recreation; crafts, activities, and stories for children at the Lion and Lamb Peace Center; a prayer seminar; picnic supper; worship, and more.. See for the complete schedule. Only the golf and picnic supper involve fees and preregistration.* All other events are free. Only have time to hear Drew Hart? Dr. Hart will be giving a plenary on Friday, June 23 from 1:45-3:15 in the Marbeck Center Commons on the Bluffton University campus and a workshop from 3:45-5:15 in Centennial Hall, also on campus. There is no fee to hear him speak, but registration* is requested and donations (if possible) welcome. (In the "Special Needs "box on the registration form, you may indicate that you are only signing up for the Hart presentations.) Consider registering also for the evening meal and staying for worship! * 5

Our youth leave for the national Mennonite convention in Orlando in just 2 weeks thanks so much for making this trip, and all the faith-building experiences it offers, a reality for our youth! Please keep the following youth in your thoughts and prayers as they attend summer camp at Friedenswald, and that it may be a transformative time in their faith journeys. Jr High week, June19-24: Julia H and Eli S; 3rd and 4th Grade week, June 26 - July 1: Wyatt S, his cousin Ava S, and Wyatt's friend, Andrew C; 5th & 6th Grade week, July 3-8: Ethan R. Wednesdays: Since God is a "We" God, calling us into community, to do life together, the sermon is a we venture as well. Wednesdays, you are invited to join me at the Peace House from 8:30-9:30 am to explore the passage for coming Sunday. Wednesday, June 21 is TBA. Pastor Renee Kanagy ATTENDANCE LAST WEEK 76 with 7 visitors MC USA Convention On June 5, Ervin Stutzman invited delegates to the MC USA General Assembly in Orlando to participate in an orientation regarding the delegate sessions. This was helpful as the business sessions are dramatically different this year because of the Future Church Summit. That session was recorded and is available to all who are how this will work. SCN/Inclusive Pastors Gathering and Seminar Tuesday, July 1:30-4:30 pm Location: Pink Menno Room, W209C If you are part of an SCN congregation, an inclusive pastor, or someone who would like to learn more about how you can make your church more lgbtq affirming, you are invited to participate in this time of friendly gathering and conversation. Carol Wise will lead a brief training on History Matters: Elder LGBTQ Strengths and Challenges, Inclusive Pastors will report on what is happening in their congregations, and Cindy Lapp will lead a conversation about the State of our Movement and what is needed in this particular time. Mennonite Mission Network requests prayer for all the fathers in the world so they can provide food and homes for their children..prayers FOR THE MENNONITE MISSION NETWORK Pray for the new IBA students at Iglesia Menonita Casa del Alfarero s Study Center in Pasadena, Texas, who are studying the course Introduction to Biblical Study. Pray for their tutor, Alberto Parchmont. May God s wisdom and guidance be with him as he leads the students in their weekly meetings. May God continue to bless him as he gives his time to this ministry. 7
8 Book Club Book Club will meet on Sunday, July 2 after church at Ault Park. The book to be discussed is "The Underground Railroad" by Colson Whitehead. Please bring a dish to share. Join the Lunch Bunch to extend the conversation and fellowship after service each week. Sometimes we visit a local restaurant, sometimes we pack a lunch and dine here. Meet around the round table in the gathering area if interested. Journey Groups Contact information available through the office for all facilitators.
