If you have items you wish to dispose of, place them near the road. The pickup will be starting on May 22nd. Ensure that your items are divided into the following piles: wood tv s tires metal all other items CONSTRUCTION SEASON - EMPLOYMENT New housing and repair construction will be starting in the near future. If you are interested in working in this field please be sure to contact Janet Brascoupe, Employment Office at to have your name and contact information included on our employment list. REQUEST FOR REPAIRS KZA has received an extremely large demand for repairs this summer. Please note that Kitigan Zibi has a limited amount of funds annually and will continue to offer this program pending the ongoing availability of such funds as such Kitigan Zibi will not be able to meet all repair requests in the year of application. The application for repairs will be available to every home owner who resides in their own dwelling on a priority list. It is to be noted that Kitigan Zibi Anishinabeg will not assist with non-essential items that are a part of normal regular maintenance. Essential Repairs are considered to be: structural deficiencies, roofing, ventilation and/or air exchanger, windows, exterior doors, electrical problems (heating), and chimney (if it does not meet the code). The homeowner will be required to deposit the necessary funds prior to any work taking place.

9 KZA Algonquin Men s Golf Challenge 2012 BE ADVISED THAT PLAYERS IN THE ALGONQUIN S OPENING TOURNAMENT WILL BE GOING OUT BEFORE AND AFTER US, SO WE MUST START ON TIME. THEREFORE REGISTRATION WILL START AT 10 AM ON MAY 5th AND CLOSE AT 11:15. IF THE TEAMS ARE FULL, THEN NO NEW PLAYERS SHALL BE ACCEPTED AFTER THIS TIME. AFTER REGISTRATION WE WILL VOTE FOR THE CAPTAINS, HAVE THE DRAFT AND THEN PLAY OUR FIRST ROUND. FEE: $120 per player which must be paid in full by the start of the draft. No refunds. 13 The K-Z Track & Field Day is around the corner - Friday May 11 th will serve as the official tryouts for the Algonquin Olympics 2012 that will be held on June at the Kitigan Zibi Kikinamadinan. Who? All Kitigan Zibi Members who are 6 to 17 (attending elementary & high school) When?: Friday May 11th Time: 8:30 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Where?: Kitigan Zibi School grounds Contact & Registration for the Day: Parents and coaches for KZA members who do not attend KZ Parents and guardians can leave a message with Rachel or Shirley Whiteduck ( ) if you would like to tryout for Team Kitigan Zibi.
