They will also have Raffle tickets available. The donation for each ticket is $5. The 1st prize is $1,500, 2nd prize is $1,000 and the 3rd prize is $500. The winners will be selected at the dinner dance, but winners need not to be present to win. Start the new year with your kids safety in mind When children express that something is wrong at school or with other activities, it's often the job of caregivers to read between the lines to determine what's really going on. They might say "I'm bored" and need your guidance finding a better school-life balance or engaging in more challenging academic work. Ask them to give examples and to help you understand what is going on. If the child is still being vague, remind them that they can tell you anything and that you'll listen with an open mind. As parents and caregivers, you have the opportunity to help kids deal well with negative feelings and challenges. And, if they are being mistreated in some way, keeping an open line of communication with kids will enable you to be their advocate. Since this symbolic act is meant to convey the faith of the whole parish community, we are always eager to have new individuals and families involved in the Eucharist in this way. If you would like to participate in the offertory procession, please let one of our ushers know.
