2 Seventeenth Sunday in Ordinary Time July 30, 2017 All things work for good for those who love God. Romans 8:28a FESTIVAL CORNER It s Festival Weekend! This weekend, July 29 and July 30. Check out the booths and enjoy the entertainment. We are selling raffle tickets at $5 each. Win cash prizes plus consolation prizes. 1 st prize is $10, nd prize is $1, rd prize is $100 for 10 winners. The drawing will be held Sunday night starting at 7:30pm. You need not be present to win. We still have a few festival shirts left. Buy one for $12 at the ticket booth. Kids, egaming is back. Check out the Social Hall for all types of games. There is a weekend Nintendo Switch tournament starting at 1pm. Puyo Puyo Tetris on Saturday. Arms on Sunday. The tournament entry fee is $3. New additions are Tabletop Gaming and Laser Tag. Some tabletop games are Battleship, Connect Four, and Jenga. For only $5, you can play Laser Tag with your friends. Sample the many delicious food and desserts. Have breakfast outdoors on Sunday from 8am to 11am. Buy a Sunday Breakfast meal for $9 from the Breakfast Booth. Choices are Bangsilog (milkfish) and Longsilog (sausage) with eggs, rice, and coffee/juice. We have a full line up of entertainment. We have a variety of performers such as an Elvis impersonator, a singing contest and audience participation. Special guests include Jeremy Passion, a Youtube headliner and Ellona Santiago, a X-Factor contestant. Join in the fun Saturday night for some dancing to our very own DJ, Sonny Mamaril. Who will be the Voices of Saint Anne. Come watch the singing contest Saturday night. The winners will perform Sunday. It s not too late help volunteer. We need lots of help with the Recycling Team. Go to the volunteer booth and sign up. You can still donate pastries and baked goods at the Cake Wheel Booth. You can bring an entrée of food for the Volunteer Booth. You can donate a prize for one of the contests. We hope to see you all at the Festival. 4 St. Anne Youth Ministry Registration Registration forms for the upcoming St. Anne Youth Ministry program are now available at the Youth Ministry Office, the CCD Office and the Parish Office. They will also be available on the Parish website very soon for you to download and print out at: St. Anne Youth Ministry is the first-year religious education program of the two-year Confirmation Preparation process. ALL Confirmation candidates must go through Confirmation first before entering the second-year program. St. Anne Youth Ministry begins in the freshman year of high school, but is open for all high school wanting to prepare for Confirmation. If you are someone who has expressed an interest in learning about becoming Catholic, was baptized Catholic as a child but has not celebrated First Communion, was baptized in another Christian tradition and would like to explore what being Catholic is all about, then this process may be for you.
