5 Third Sunday of Advent/Tercer Domingo de Adviento Last chance-due THIS WEEKEND You are invited to remember your friends and loved ones in our parish s annual Christmas Floral Remembrance. Envelopes are in the gathering area of the church. Suggested donation is $10 per remembrance. All proceeds help us to defray the cost of decorating our church for Christmas. Remembrances must be returned by December 19th for Christmas Bulletin inclusion. Simbang Gabi. This beautiful Filipino Catholic Church Tradition is an expression the Filipino s filial devotion to Mary, the Mother of God. For nine consecutive nights, (we are the 6th night, complete schedule is on the back of the MHR December Calendar), they join and accompany her, as she awaits the birth of her Son. The masses on these nights are celebrated as solemn votive masses in her honor. We invite you to us on Wednesday, December 20th at 7 pm as our parish will host the night of the Simbang Gabi. Mass of the Holy Innocents Will be celebrated with mass on Thursday, December 28th at 7 pm here at Most Holy Redeemer. All are welcome to come and place the names of all children lost to any and all causes, in our Book of Prayer, and light a candle for each child. Catholics are welcome to invite or bring their non- Catholic brothers and sisters to this special remembrance of giving them back to the one who gave them to us. update We would like to Thank Cheryl Sundy for her years as maintenance Lady for MHR and welcome Peggy Ritz who will be filling her shoes.
