Thank you for your generous donations of food that we all make to the food pantry. We collected numerous items last week. Times are hard for a lot of families. Thank you for your continued support of this ministry. The item of need for December is 72 boxes of Cereal. If you are attending Annunciation and are not registered with the Parish as a member, we have no idea if you are a participating Catholic or not, so please register and if you can not afford to give monetarily please put a prayer card in the offertory so that we know you are attending. Also for all of you who pay by cash we really appreciate it but if you would put it in an envelope we could track that you are attending as well. It is important when it comes to all the Sacraments. We can not say you are active if we do not know. Thank you With all the food allergies that are in our environment today there are sometimes people who are allergic to gluten. We now provide a low gluten host to those individuals. It contains less than.001% gluten and is approved for use by the Vatican. You must speak to Father Bill to let him know that you need low gluten host and it will be made available to you. We wish you all a very Merry Christmas and A Blessed Prosperous, Healthy New Year. The Parish Office closed at noon on Friday and will reopen at 9 am on January 2nd, In the event of an emergency please call the office and listen to the recording for further options to get up with someone. Glenn LaMarque approached me and asked if the Parish would help collect soda pull tabs to help offset the cost of his daughter having to stay at the Ronald McDonald House in Mobile Alabama. His daughter had twins born at 22 weeks due to complications. Scarlett weighed 14.4 ounces and Jesse weighed 1 pound 1.8 ounces. By collecting the soda pull tabs, they can help offset the cost of the stay. Please pray for this family, save the tops and bring them in. Glenn is a parishioner here at Annunciation Catholic Parish. Angel Tree: A special Thank You to all the ladies who volunteer in the Parish Office for all their help; taking phone calls, cutting out and filling out Angel Tags, organizing and handing out gifts, to a few special ladies who helped with Announcements and purchasing and putting together gifts for the Cherry Point Bay Nursing Home, to our Middle School Youth Group for putting up the beautiful trees in the back of the Church and hanging all the tags on them and for all of you who took a tag from the tree. A Special Thank you to Teresa and Father Bill for there support, and to Carrie, our Music Director, for leading the Middle School Youth Group and the Youth Group Coordinators, in Christmas Caroling as they delivered the gifts to 70 Cherry Point Bay Nursing Home, Men and Women and for anyone who helped in any way. Without everyone working together this would not be possible. We are Truly Blessed at Annunciation. We had gifts, food baskets + a Ham for 30 Havelock Families and 1 Foster Child plus Catholic Daughters supplied gifts for 2 more Foster Children. May you all have a Very Blessed Christmas and a Very Happy New Year!!

7 FAITH in FORMATION Reminder There will be no Faith Formation and Adult Faith Formation classes the next two weekends. Classes will resume January 6th. Corporal Works of Mercy in Action! Thank you to the High School Youth Group for helping spread the joy of Christmas to the incarcerated at the Carteret Correctional Center. Do not neglect to show hospitality to strangers, for thereby some have entertained angels unawares. Hebrews 13:2 Prayer for the Fourth Sunday of Advent Almighty, eternal, just, and merciful God, give us miserable ones the grace to do for You alone what we know you want us to do, and always to desire what pleases You. Inwardly cleansed, interiorly enlightened and inflamed by the fire of the Holy Spirit, may we be able to follow in the footsteps of Your beloved Son, our Lord Jesus Christ, and by Your grace alone, may we make our way to You, Most High, Who live and rule in perfect Trinity and simple Unity, and are glorified God almighty, forever and ever. Amen.
